I just noticed that my page was so much shorter all of a sudden... IT DIDNT BALANCE!! :o

Hopefully they get this all figured out, I don't know who my best friends are without Facebook. PLEASE HELP !

Around 7:40 p.m. Cali time last night, Facebook removed Top Friends because a professional hacker exploited a logic error in the application that allowed users to see some limited Facebook information about a friend of a Top Friend.

An officer on the Slide on Facebook Group wrote:

"We quickly eliminated this bug and are working with Facebook to verify it is completely corrected. Slide is committed to restoring your carefully crafted Top Friends profiles and friend selections.

Will provide an update as soon as I can.

Interesting. I didn't even know that until I read this post. I had the top friends app installed and I had a slideshow I made too which are now both gone.

THANKS to either the app or facebook! Not cool. A note or something would've been nice especially if it wasn't facebook's fault I'm sure they don't want to be getting the blame for not being able to do things properly and pissing people off.

wow, i can't believe top friends just vanished!!! i noticed it a couple of hours ago. I believe that this app is one of the best ones, it's a facebook classic! it was like the first app I ever added, and i opened my account more than a year ago (before all the stupid apps were created and inviting 15 friends was not a MUST)...

I just noticed it just now. Did it happen today? i wanted to send drinks and I couldn't find tf anywhere--I went to applications, my friends pages, edited my extended profile to see if it was there--it's gone!!! it had better come back, it's one of my favorite apps. Wow--I don't think facebook would just get rid of an app as big as topfriends. jesus.
