opportunity to look ahead 15 minutes into the future!
Learning how Companies who need to funraise will look to free up capital. I.e how will Companies who were bootstrapped return to their roots if they can not fund raise the next round. Also, I'm curious to see any Companies who use this recession as an oppertunity and where that next round of innovation lies.
Often times 'industry events' feature the usual suspects. Looking forward to meeting the players that make their way to the desert and actually have a real product to "DEMO."
how many new cool companies are emerging because of today's economic conditions.
So many of these people are coming from companies outside of web/social media/tech, these are the real world changers!

... bringing the innovation back home to keep the spirit of a smarter, interconnected, more meaningful Internet going. It's an evolutionary process - taking what we learn today and working it, shaping it, and making it better for our users. We're experiencing an optimistic mindset that's ripe for change; I want to be part of aiding cultural responses to emerging technologies. Thanks for considering me.
I am relatively new to the Tech world. Social media and the like. I am eager to find a niche for myself and fell that I might be closer to finding this niche by attending Demo 09.
Good Luck to all the other entrants.

Steve Wozniak's 6 minute presentation of his new startup, "iDancedWithTheStars" with the additional presentation on how to use iMovie and GarageBand to make yourself into a good dancer.
In my mind, DEMO Conference is by far and away, the world's premier event for launching new, tranformational, and trend setting technologies.
Because it is only the best of the best, the creme de la creme companies demonstrating, I know I can expect an unforgettable experience in terms of technology.
I want to be there to experience the collective "Magic" and then let everyone know what I've seen.
Thanks!

...meeting so many intresting people.
Seeing the world of tomorrow that occupied most waking moments of my kid brain unfold, and meet the amazing people who not only share my interests, but also drive them as well.

hope -- hope that I truly see the next wave of innovative companies that
will drive progress for our country and the globe. Hope, that
despite the economy and the drying up of investment capital that entrepreneurs
