Don't forget to check out http://www.twibeo.com It is a site that allows millions of users to share what they are doing using the combination of text, photos, and videos. http://www.twibeo.com

Ditto, this is really nice. I'm loving TBUZZ so far. Just need to add ability to choose our own URL shortening service so we can track clicks.

Anyone remember "Gooey" from the late 90's? It was a system designed like virtual post-it notes - where Gooey users could make comments on any website for all other Gooey users to see when they visited the same site (like leaving a post-it for the next visitor). I remember website owners were scared of the feedback then, too. They died after just a couple unsuccesful years I think. It seems that they were just way too ahead of their time, as TBuzz and a few other services remind me of it a lot.

I never used Gooey, but the way you are describing it, it reminds me more Blerp. By the way, I think this TBuzz is a tough concurrent to Tumblr, isnt' it?
  • Kevin Eklund · 6 months ago
Sounds just like all the other annotation sites like Fleck, Diigo, etc. Indeed, late 90's would have been way before its time.

Yeah, I used Gooey. You could leave comments in little post-it notes on pages that anyone using Gooey would see. Most of the comments weren't very interesting or relevant though...

Indeed a useful tool, digging deeper to see if it "stores" all the pages about twitter that I read/come acrosss - that would save me time bookmarking while giving people something to tweet about.

    1. Sign up to http://www.real-freebies.net

Twitter is like a breath of fresh air on the Social Media scene. I have been on it for just a few weeks now and I have met several interesting people. It is a platform to network with people you would like to meet in real life.

Really good stuff. This is one of the twitter tools that I may actually use on a regular basis as opposed to trying out and dropping after a few days.

Hey Pete, HootSuite has had this feature since it's launch! The Hootlet tool allows you to tweet from any page - simply drag it to your bookmarks toolbar - supa easy. P.S. we have a big announcement coming, so stayed tune :) -Kate
  • Amy · 6 months ago
Actually, there is only one similarity, Kate. It does not show also other people who are Tweeting about the same page while you are on it. Also, Hootsuite is very nice looking, but there is a longer sign up process and it does different things. TBuzz is short and sweet :)
