This is a feature built into their system so they can tell you that your phone is old and feel free to purchase another.
This is only one circumstance that they have elevated through their system with plenty of more bugs.
Good luck T-Mobile members
God Bless
You would think they would learn how to handle things like this after their recent Sidekick fiasco.
(And yes I was aware of 611 and the toll free number)
Called customer service when I got back; they said "Oh, we updated something and that re-set your option to use the phone overseas. You had to call us and re-set that function." Oh really? I said. "Um, how many f-ing ways do you have to get a hold of me? Text? Email? Voice? and I have to call YOU to re-set something that should never have to be set in the first place! WTF?!?" The guy was like: "Hm, a text message - that's a good idea; not sure why they don't do that...."
HOPELESS customer service if they can't grasp something so basic.
We can make calls but not receive them.
No texting either...
Messed up!
I'm able to make calls, but not recieve them, as well as not being able to send text messages, or recieve those as well.
Customer Care is a busy signal, hangs up on me, or a man says the line is busy.
but NOT to any other T-mobile phone. Also, their website is slammed!
I believe in getting for what you pay but I refuse to bend over for AT&T. They're a rip-off.
I live in California and the only call I was able to make was to my husband and he is on AT&T but all I can access right now from my iPhone is apps and data stuff. Can't receive calls nor can I make any. To add insult to injury, our Comcast home phone service is down too so I'm sitting here alone in our apartment with no phone. Thankfully I still have cable TV and the internet (obviously) otherwise I'd be losing my mind! Xbox Live... here I come!
no texting..
im just relieved its not my new itouch, or there would be bigger problems.
For you people who slam T-Mobile, I have had every major service (Sprint, verizon, nextel, cingular, AT&T and cricket). My favorite is T-Mobile, hands down. Less dropped calls and better reception in my area.
As a Realtor, phone reception is very important. My friends and I play mobile horse (pick areas of the city and make a 2 minute call) frequently. My T-mobile phone is #1.
what kind of crappy company!!!
tmobile sucksss!
Rather ridiuclous.
Get lives.
Get lives.
Get lives.
it wont send ANY text messages and im getting all my messages at least 3 hours late.
this is not the first time it happens...tmobile has had this problem before but it never took this long to fix.
its very aggravating. we pay spend so much money on this shit you'd think they'd at least take care of these problems quicker...
We all know that Tmobile phones via text or call-in data all have been down for at least 4 hrs now...And they'll fix it by morning, so wait till tomorrow morning and get on with lives!
For those who don't know according to a blog, Tmobile would be giving all it's customers a $5 credit for the inconvenience.
So suck it up, deal with it, and grow up!

IM livid!
gifts for men
While unquestionably frustrating I for one have not included the temporary loss of cell service as one of my silent screams!
