Britain's beloved Susan (even more so Scotland's beloved) most certainly is back and she will be appearing in the first live semi-final heat tomorrow evening (Sunday 24th May) when she will presumably win through to the live final later in the week.
That said, there are a lot of very talented acts competing against her and it is by no means a foregone conclusion and as this stage of the competition will be down to a public vote the huge publicity she has received may well go against her.
My tip to win is Jamie Pugh, another singer, but someone who has slipped under the radar amidst the furore surrounding Susan Boyle. It's going to be an exciting week for UK TV viewers!

The highs and lows are almost too difficult to take, but I'm so glad for Susan Boyle. The more I learn about her, the more I want her to go all the way to the top.

Just goes to show you that the age old saying, "you can't judge a book by it's cover" holds true. While it's not my kind of music you can't deny the quality of her voice or hear the excellence in her song selection. Go Susan, this contest is yours for the taking.

Susan Boyle you are one classy lady. When Simon announced that your group made it to the semi-finals, you reciprocated by asking Simon to shake his hand. That shows a lot of class and it shows what a wonderful upbringing you had from both your parents. That is why Susan millions of people all over the world love you and have come to respect and admire you. Best of luck to you Susan in the next round and on to win the 2009 BGT.

The judges are too exaggerated though the performance, the voice is very average, lots of singer is better than her, she can sing only one song though..... Sorry not impressive!

There are so many Susan Boyles in this world, but goes un-noticed. Some may be in the Church or some may be in some obscure part of the world. How Beautiful this world would be, if all of them can brought into limelight !

Susan goofed up a few notes(probably nerves)and that caught much attention.What deserved much attention is how she picked herself up and went on.Perhaps Memory wasn't the best selection for Susan (at this time at least) but she still did an awesome job of it once she got her bearings. What some people seem to be forgetting is that in her audition she said her dream was to BE a professional singer.Not that she was a professional singer.She's on her way-not arrived.The other things some folks have taken notice of is her incredible celebrity.What they failed to notice is that she didn't seek this out-she wasn't trying to attain fame and fortune.She was just trying out for BGT.She could never have forseen the outcome. This is some people-most of us who are fans know that Susan is truly talented and that many many "stars" in the music business have far less talent than she.We know why we love her and we have faith.We're not going to be dissuaded over one performance that was good but could have been better. We know what she's capable of.And we also know that fame and fortune was never her goal in life.She's lived her life privately,quietly doing what she needed to do for her folks. I can only imagine now,this close to having it actually happen,how she must want to achieve winning this.She deserves it.The other talent is talented but Susan is unique.She is just beginning. So with all her fans-who so much know what Susan can do we say,.GO SUSAN GO. Don't let the naysayers hold you back!!!

Beautiful voice! However, I think that she is mentally unstable person, she may not handle the pressure all the way and, as a result, she will fail. This is very unfortunate.
