Nice! 35K + is pretty incredible. It is amazing how things have been spreading on Twitter. Social Media for Social Change is in effect for sure.

I wonder what will come next. There have been so many great campaigns/ideas lately.

Great job raising that much money for charity! Great to see social networks coming up with new solutions.

Here is another important cause and all it will take is a click.

Please show your solidarity for the people of Burma as the first anniversary of Cyclone Nargis approaches (May 2nd ~ 150,000+ dead). As we saw last year, our policy of sanctions is ultimately harming the people much more than it helps. Money still gets into the people who already have it, causing the poor to be more and more alienated. In the meantime the Irrawaddy is so polluted with mercury from the gold mining that China is doing in Kachin State (boarders on China and Myanmar/Burma) that the fish float belly up--an important traditional food source is now killing people.

Please sign this petition to drop the sanctions on Burma.
