Contratulations "Susanne's boyfriend' for getting shirtsmyway features on Mashable! Good work!

There's nothing about the Web in this model that makes it that much more efficient. Particularly given the sales volume on custom shirts. (In SF, you can't even get people to wear shirts with collars, after all.)

    I give them 12 months.

This is a really slick idea. I'm a bit gunshy about dropping 65 bucks on a shirt that I can't get my hands on until the finished product comes out.. but I occasionally debate on an Ascot Chang shirt, so there's that.

I get paid extra next month... *hmmmm*

This website rocks!!!!!!! I am Swiss and goes to Italy to buy my shirts. Nowadays most of the Italian shirts production has been sent to cheaper country. The quality has decreased. And the best brands who still produce in Italy (Etro, Paul Smith, Caliban, etc.) have increased their prices like crazy for no reason except marketing.

This website is a wonderfull idea. All the options are wonderfull! I would buy all my shirts there. The only reason I will not do it now is because of the too "US" material selection. There is no double/triple rotor. No complex/original weaving material. No classy fantasy.

They should start a newsletter, give away a free shirt a week, to build promotions

This site is kinda cool but there's a number of online tailors out there and with much larger selections and shirt styles to choose from. Shirtsmyway.com is too new and doesn't have enough
fine fabrics for me to buy since i only wear the finest fabrics on my back. I have been using mytailor.com for years now, these guys travel the globe to do measurements for you in or near your town (noone else does that) the selection of regular and fine fabrics is huge, you can also make ties, suits and pants. there's about a dozen different styles of shirts for all occasions too.

Shirtsmyway.com is neat and loads very quick but i can't see myself switching from mytailor.com to a startup online tailor that has less fabrics, styles, and selection to choose from.

Designing your own shirt is one thing - measuring your self is another. I have been in the clothing industry for over 30 years and I can tell you that if a professional does not do the numbers - you are in big trouble. And of course, once the shirt is made, you're stuck with it.

    Be careful....

Awesome site. I'm going to check it out. Really great idea and I bet women will have fun designing shirts as gifts for people. I don't know if I can deal with the idea of having 7trillion options.
