I demoed the Droid at a Verizon store and tried hulu and youtube on it's browser- unfortunately I was unable to view anything due to the fact that Adobe has not created a Flash plugin to work with the Droid OS as of yet. Very surprising that it wasn't figured out before the release.

I want an iphone, but do not want to leave Verizon. I guess it is the waiting game for me.

Yes!! I have Verizon and have been patiently waiting to buy the iPhone until I can buy it while using Verizon!!! Hopefully this turns into not just a rumor!!

They can and I do multi task! They also just work when and where you need them. Lost map yourself! Need contacts on phone you have all , mail up to date and IMAP with google or apple mail on a cloud! The iPhone just gets better and more powerful. All other phone are just a shadow and trying to play catch up. Heck MS and all others are trying to play catch up with apple now, who'd a thunk it! You can have the brightest phone on the block, sleekest designed and most personal phone or wish you did!
Are there issue-yes Are they leaps and bounds above anyone else yes yes.
G4 would be cool- what you have to watch out for is bleeding edge, new game and will verizon be able to match the demand if they get the iPhone.
Iphone has mapped a new road and that road has huge demand being able to see all routs is developing!

I am a long term Verizon user and will purchase an Iphone the very day it is available on Verizon. I have little or no 3G coverage with ATT&T where I live. Most everyone I know will buy one instantly! Come on Apple Do it!!!!

iPhones are for dumb users. If you want a real phone, get either a Windows phone or an Android. Those phones act more like computers. With my Tilt 2 I can connect with my laptop from anywhere I go, something you cannot do with the iPhone.

In response to the question, the only reason I have not bought an iPhone is because of AT&T. If it comes to Verizon, I will be the first in line.

I don't currently own an iPhone, but I am waiting and waiting until that beautiful Verizon Wireless iPhone 4G comes out. I am with Verizon now but have an unfun phone, & can't wait for a Verizon iPhone! (Will definately purchase one right away.)

I love the iPhone but at&t has too many dropped calls and the coverage is also less than desirable. I would move to Verizon, and my wife would too, the moment Verizon joins with Apple and brings us an iPhone which actually has a phone that works. All of the Apps, Movies, etc. are OK, but if the Phone does not work, at&t should just call it their "i".

I love apple and my Ipod touch and at&t has no service outside of large cities. I would love an iPhone. I am on Verizon and would gladly upgrade if iphone became available.

I would buy the iphone from even a cheaper carrier like T-mobil, but it should has a larger screen like, up coming Sony X-10, 4".

I have an Iphone and would jump to Verizon in a heartbeat. Verizon has much better coverage. I had to buy a Micro cell ($150.00) to have coverage at my house.

I want an iPhone real bad but I hate AT&T. I live in the mountains in california and at&t has crappy coverage up here. If Verizons getting it within the next year then I'll wait.

It is clearly unclear when Verizon will launch its services over LTE in 2010. There are speculations that it could happen as early as Q1 but i personally do not see it's coming until after calendar Q2 or even later.

The i Phone is interesting but having to downgrade my coverage from Verizon to ATT to get it is a deal breaker. I need functionality but I need connectivity more. I had ATT for years (suffering the continuous drops) before I switched to Verizon. Now the only time I can't connect is in the most remote locations (where you don't expect any company to have any coverage). Sorry Steve... you blew it going with ATT

I've been wanting an iphone since it first came out but im with verizon and they didn't have it so if apple switches to verizon i think that will be the best thing ever. and im not a fan of at&t such their service and customer service isn't that great. verizon is just better in my OPINION! the service and just everything is better!

I have verizon my family have verizon and i think me and all of them would be happy to have the iphone...But i have a friend who used to have verizon and change to AT&T because she wants the iphone,,and i know a lot people have done the same,,, you know Iphone its wanted.

If the iphone goes to Verizon, I will be moving my account from AT&T to Verizon. I love teh iphone and believe there is no true competitor (no, the Droid does not match it for ease of use), but the AT&T network is sorely lacking. You would think in Silicon Valley, that AT&T would have a sufficient network to escape dropped calls, but it does not. I drop calls literally everywhere in the Bay Area. Verizon simply does not. I had a perfect signal from home to office and just about everywhere I went with Verizon (my prior cell phone). Count me in Verizon (and Apple, again) if you make the move.

Ive had all three versions of the iphone and their single major flaw in my eyes is AT&T. When the Verizon version comes out ill be waiting in line for sure

The smartphone market is always driven by network speed--I need the speed and will wait for Verizon to bring it's Iphone product to market. I'm a Sprinter right now and will certainly hop to whomever gets to 4G first.

I will be at least couple of years before LTE networks will be widespread enough for any real service to be provided. In 2010 select customers and areas will have access to these network for trial purposes. Also, LTE on a phone will drain a phone's battery in an hour. I think they will start with data cards/usb dongles that provide 4G connectivity.

Hm...as much as I hate AT&T, I actually might not switch to Verizon. I dunno, it really depends on the cost of the plans more than anything...though service is occasionally spotty, I'm extremely lucky to have fairly good reception (and sometimes even good 3G where I am). Now if it's a matter of upgrading to 4G, I might just have to.

About whether or not non-AT&T users would by the iPhone, though—Uhh, YES! I know AT LEAST four people who constantly complain that they would get an iPhone if it was available on Verizon, and I'm sure many others feel the same way. Apple would make bank off of this.
