there's another similar application called whatsapp, and it surely deserves more recognition than ping does.
cheers.
In addition to that if some unoficial sms system will catch, apple will develop its own system, and we won't have to pay a dime.
Now some might say - its only a dollar - but this is the thing about this kind of programs - a dollar here, a dollar there and it sums to a lot. its not that I'm not buying stuff in the app store but this one seems like a waste of money, i wish them good luck.
there seems to be a lag in updating the messages (it just updated after not working for the whole day), and the constant blinking in the message box (quite annoying) needs to be ironed out.
Does that seem like a MAJOR flaw to you? It does to me.
So... Would she now have control of that ID? Would we both be able to use it? Would we both get messages that were supposed to go to just me? Will John break up with Martha?
I may try it again after it gets updated. And yeah, it's not free anymore.
And I really can't believe that it is taken so long to provide this sort of app on the iPhone after the continued success of the built in BB messenger on our blackberrys? In fact I would expect the next major release of iPhone firmware to include a built in messenger of some sort.
I downloaded Pinglite on I phone but it does not work as it says connecting and goes on foreever. My internet connection is ok as it allwed the download. Any idea what I acn do?

Why use SMS at all? SMS is for dumb phones.
