Your Celebrity & Gossip list is crap. Out of your three finalists one of the sites is down for repair, one is a Bollywood site, and the other one is adult oriented picture site. Kinda missed the mark completely.

Yes, we have tight controls on spam. All votes are verified via email.
It occurs to me that some sites might be down because they weren't ready for the attention (and increased traffic) of getting into the Final Round...but then, only Mashable can say how much total referral traffic they're generating now. :)
