Just like you said, their clients are "AOL, Microsoft, Oracle, and eBay" - e.g, companies that have no problems throwing thousands of dollars per month down the drain for Omniture's sub-par product with horrible customer support. They do social media including Twitter, but they also do traditional media and opinion leader media.  They weight for reach and impact - ie the NYT or WSJ has more impact that tweets.  They use a very quantitative approach to analysis of comments with natural language processing and scoring for emotive intensifiers.
