As for those who bemoan the ads on UberTwitter, it's one or two in your stream and very easy to ignore - get over it, and be happy that they can make a buck or two from their efforts in building what is to date the gold standard in BB Twitter apps. If a few ads means they can continue to improve it, I'm all for it.
Don't know if I'll switch from ubertwitter straight away though, it will probably take a few revisions to get it right.
Look at the facebook app, it was very basic at first, the only difference being there was no alternative.
Thanks Mash....for keeping us up to date!

The one feature promised by this rumour which will blow all the other BB Twitter clients out of the water is BIS-B Pushing. Never having to refresh, always having the most current tweets at hand. Not being concerned about API access -- since no twitter client is good enough to give up on a desktop client -- will make an official BB twitter client the clear winner.
Bring on BB Twitter!
I really like UberTwitter and the very few ads don't really bother me - and glad they can make money without charging me. I can't imagine that some still only use the mobile website - that's just lazy or they really don't tweet much. The app would have to be better to switch, so we'll see. Or if it will let you have more than one account as I have one personal account and one for work.

I have a question for you: is there a free PDF reader out there?

I've downloaded a few Twitter applications, and I didn't like them.
