This is true, plus it's a more narrow audience than the current events news of Colbert and Stewart. It's not immediately clear if it would be a daily or weekly show though if it makes it past pilot stage. Daily might be tough to fill.

I fear it's too specific. With Onion News Network, they had enough material to work with to produce a lot of great videos. With just sports, it really narrows the subjects they can use - and the audience.
