Who cares?!! We've got BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4OD AND Sky Player! Thats practically every channel covered!

Unless you choose the quasi-legal route, like many, and access Hulu via a proxy server. The web abounds with instructions and happy users.

You can thank Sky for this situation, having one company monopolising the television rights (even Virgin has to buy most content from Sky, rather than directly from the network) is seriously damaging the quality of UK online services as well as other television providers.

I want both Hulu and BBC iPlayer here in Germany and I'm willing to pay for it. Have you seen the quality of German TV? Even the biggest cable provider, Kabel Deutschland, is unable to figure out how to broadcast the original soundtrack alongside the dubbed version. Even the Spanish cable provider Ono has figured that one out.

It is no wonder that piracy is rife in Europe. It is the only option left for the consumer to get what they want. There are no viable paid alternatives.

Here you go TV networks... take some money... do you want it or not you effing muppets. Grrrrrr.

I'm not a very big fan of Hulu in the first place and I would probably never use it but I find it stupid how they can't get a contract with the companies to show the content outside the U.S. I am sure they're making loads of money.

So even if we get Hulu in the UK, it wont have any of the current American content we'd want to watch on it at the moment, it'll just deliver the content we already have access to on British services already. I'm not sure how they think this is going to be attractive to anyone.

In the UK we already have access to BBC, ITV, C4 and Sky so we don't need their content on Hulu but we can't see shows from NBC, FOX, and ABC online that you get in the US. So where is the problem? Just give us access to Hulu this side of the pond and we will be happy.
