    Would make a load of sense to open it up and allow sites to let users import their contact details from any other network.

    After all, it's not about trying to maintain a silo (AOL anyone?) but rather lock people in by having the best possible product so that they don't "need" to go anywhere else.

    I'm in the camp who uses Netvibes as a homepage and uses the Facebook app.

    I prefer it this way because even if Netvibes goes wrong further down the line, at least their OPML export means I can keep the content and feeds I have created elsewhere.

    Long live Netvibes - remember, if it seems too easy or too good to be true, it probably is
