  • Simon Ponder · 2 months ago
Great, so now Trending topics on twitter will become even more useless
  • Gray · 2 months ago
    just tried it. doesn't work.
  • Rick Lomas · 2 months ago
Never ignore a PR=9 monster like MySpace
  • citystaremz · 2 months ago

  • sizemattic · 2 months ago
Does anyone still use myspace still?
  • talkbox · 2 months ago
    Really...who is still using Myspace?
  • Brandon_Sheley · 2 months ago
nope, unless you have a band
  • Alex · 2 months ago
I use it. I'm 21 years old, and a very large chunk of my friends use it over Facebook. Facebook and Twitter are my more "Business based" accounts, while myspace is much more personal.
  • sizemattic · 2 months ago
I still have my myspace but I use Facebook more. Right now I'm just trying to recruit all the Facebookers into tweeters now. People Nae-say twitter but they just don't know. It's just a matter of time...
  • Knoyce · 2 months ago
Good for Myspace, but who really uses Myspace anymore? Our new social network is in process to do the same. We recently added Tokbox video chat http://bit.ly/1lxEdJ
  • Alex C · 2 months ago
Not actually.. Twitter and Facebook rule the web these days. Anyways I found this excellent guide on how to sync your myspace and twitter accounts which I would like to share: http://digitizor.com/2009/09/21/how-to-sync-twi...
  • TheBox193 · 2 months ago
I guess they are still around... who knew?
  • brian fanslau · 2 months ago
Bands and people who enjoy messing with HTML still use myspace because it is by far the most configurable space for social networking. My friend's band absolutely loves it still because of the great customization they can enable for their site and the ease of placing their music for others to sample right from their homepage. Enabling Myspace to broadcast to Twitter will help them save time and draw more fans to their site to view their songs thus making Myspace still viable for Music enthusiasts and others with a passion for customization.
  • Rick Burns · 2 months ago
    I still use it.
  • Silencio Barnes · 2 months ago
Yes! Just a little bit of give on behalf of Myspace:) I'm starting to think they're gonna be okay. Then again, they also should have implemented this a long time ago.
  • Giannii · 2 months ago
I didn't realize that nightmares could actually come true..
  • Jason Dunn · 2 months ago
    Now that was funny. LMAO
  • Name · 2 months ago
    LOL...Thanks for the giggle!
  • Tilmont Lionel · 2 months ago
Exactly what I was waiting for! Perfect for a myspace page artist, too much flaws in facebook fan pages ... Nice move !!
  • Steven Finch · 2 months ago
Myspace needs to move away from social networking and become and entertainment hub!
  • sizemattic · 2 months ago
That's a good idea. Myspace is geared more towards the younger age kids. I haven't gotten a new comment in months. I'll stick with Facebook and Twitter.
  • NielDLR · 2 months ago
I like this. As long as it's not posting updates to both sites, it's pretty cool. Might as well sync it with my Myspace. I'm not using it that much anymore, but if it creates some extra interest without any effort, why not?
  • Sam · 2 months ago
There isnt an option to 'sync' in 'my account' does anyone have a direct link?
  • Andrew · 2 months ago
  • dez · 2 months ago
I can't wait for a bug that causes an endless loop of updates. That would be awesome. But wow, myspace is deciding to work with the twitter platform instead of trying to best it... Hmm. Nope, still won't use myspace (profiles take too long to load)
  • Timmy · 2 months ago
hmm, if profiles taking too long to load is your ONLY reason to not use MySpace, then it's time to use MySpace. A few months ago MySpace launched MySpace Lite, where you can check the setting in your account to view all profiles in Lite View, which gets rid of users about and interests sections, background images to make a profile load much much faster without the junk.
  • aboutjer · 2 months ago
I still don't think this will get me back to Myspace. I still think it's an all out assault on your senses.
  • vegas · 2 months ago
What is this 'Myspace' you speak of?
  • vincent samudosky · 2 months ago
Whatever your heart desires,Go for it and dont stop ever.
  • Joey Pants · 2 months ago
It's still beta but as of right now, if you have Twitter updates protected it will only sync one way (from MySpace to Twitter and not from Twitter to MySpace).
  • rhys howell · 2 months ago
an interesting development, it's extremely late to start making myspace an open platform but at least they're trying. it's the taking part that counts.

how about importing feeds to myspace blogs?!?!?!
  • Baxter Tocher · 2 months ago
    This is broken here.

"Your account is not linked to any 3rd-party services at this time."

No option to add any 3rd party services.
  • Nick · 2 months ago
Wondering why any of this is novel when you can just use ping.fm to update all social web sites at once...
  • Jimmy Kupczak · 2 months ago
Why go to yet ANOTHER site to update all of my pages when I could just login to Facebook or MySpace and do it from there?
  • Trigeia Twins · 2 months ago
Myspace is still one of the largest web properties online. Of course you can update your twitter account from your myspace account.
Last.fm and MySpace Blocked in Turkey?

  • Mike · 2 months ago
Not enough to bring me back to MySpace and this has more value for Twitter. MySpace has a much larger audience than Twitter, thus Twitter's activity is bound to grow.
  • bluefinch604 · 2 months ago
It's about time someone did this! I'm sure that Twitter and Facebook will catch on and follow suit soon enough.
  • Paul · 2 months ago
The option isn't there for me.
  • igneousquill · 2 months ago
I just set up the sync. That's probably the last time in a long time that I'll log in to MySpace. I spend most of my social networking time on Facebook. I never liked the look, feel or functionality of MySpace. Now, if MySpace would only start supporting publishing to its blogs from feeds (as Facebook Notes can publish blog feeds) it would become slightly less worthless to me.
  • P Cora Jr. · 2 months ago
Hopefully Facebook will take note of this and implement it as well. ATM I rely on Posterous to do updating to Twitter/facebook/tumblr
  • bhartzer · 2 months ago
Now I have something else to do with my Myspace account, I was beginning to think that Myspace was useless. wait. it still is.
  • chris · 2 months ago
It's just too late for myspace. They started making moves way too late. It's looks nicer now, but everyone is moving on to facebook already. I didn't like facebook, but all by friends moved to facebook, so I had too.
  • facebook-558645426 · 2 months ago
Facebook need to sort this out.
  • Colleen Robledo · 2 months ago
I've tested this out for about 1 hour, and the oAuth integration doesn't filter out Twitter Replies as MySpace statuses. These should not show up as Statuses.

    By the way...

We're a college library, and still have a ton of students who use MySpace.

We have currently had to utilize horrid HootSuite (I prefer CoTweet) just because HootSuite integrates with MySpace via Ping.fm.
  • Mark Faizey · 2 months ago
    I dont use Myspace anymore,
  • tweetamar · 2 months ago
Nobody I know still uses MySpace.
  • Chris Leiter · 2 months ago
Facebook and Twitter fill my needs.. I've got a myspace account, but I can't remember the last time I logged in! Too much flash, music, videos and crap that I don't care about.
  • Ryan Barthel · 2 months ago
    whats MySpace?? HAHAHA
  • Rick Burns · 2 months ago
    Wow.

  • "CoachDeb" Micek · 2 months ago
Did MySpace just become relevant again?
  • Sherrie Rohde · 2 months ago
Ugh. I hate MySpace. It needs to die before I go blind from its teen "designers" ...
  • Lori Anne Brown · 2 months ago
I still use Myspace but only visit it a few times a month, unlike Facebook that I update at least every other day. Still like Myspace's design flexibility, but hate that they mangle outgoing links and other problems.
  • Ryan Lalonde · 2 months ago
MySpace is hoping people will use their website again by adding this. I am sure Facebook has an application for Twitter.
  • Stefan Smit · 2 months ago
Interesting, but not available in the Netherlands. How come these features don't get a worldwide release?
  • Alain-Christian · 2 months ago
I hope this means blog/RSS sync is on the way.
  • Name · 2 months ago
    Finally.
  • mcgriddler · 2 months ago
I can't wait till another social networking site comes along and people start bashing Facebook the way they're bashing MySpace. Apparently "everyone" moves from one site to another after they notice their friends do, when it seems that if your friends really cared about you in the first place, they'd stick around MySpace where you already are and keep communicating with you. If they stop because you don't move on to Facebook, then apparently they weren't much in the way of "friends".
I like that I don't have to be friends with everyone just to view their profiles and Facebook has too many restrictions. So I want to use a silly nickname as my display name, let me.
  • StanwixRay · 2 months ago
Yoono seems to have a bit of an answer to the difficult "push" problem you mention, albeit you work from Yoono's interface and update several networks at once.
  • ra23h · 1 month ago
    Many still use it
