Considering I don't own a TV and don't really plan on getting cable when I do (And I know a lot of people who feel similarly), a subscription or commercial version of this would be awesome. Can't be free or it'd severely hurt Netflix. I look forward to seeing where this goes.

This is smart-- create a digital presence that your old-school business and legal teams can make sense of (billing via cable TV) and then figure it out from there while establishing yourself in the marketplace.

Do you think we are going to see more standalone movie viewing sites come along? Hulu seems to be starting with movies, youtube says they will. Studios will want to rake in especially since Netflix has streaming. Will studios release these sites for free at some point in the future?

The Hulu for movies might very well be...Hulu. After all it's not just NBC it's NBC Universal. Disney includes Pixar, Touchstone, and Mirimax, and News Corp has 20th Century Fox.

I hope they've done their homework and will have all their content captioned.
Hulu, iTunes, ABC.com, YouTube and Google Video have all made significant strides in this arena, and are showing the rest of the market that yes, it CAN be done.
