A very sad day, the loss of Micheal Jackson to many worldwide will be huge, for me personally, i grew up listening to his music, played his music throughout a thirty year peroid as a DJ and thought that he was a true genius, a real showman, and a victim of the media, i will tell my two children tomorrow of this and they will be devasted, they are nine years old. So sad that Michael has died. He truly had great talent. However, the great question is 'Where has he gone?' The truth is, we all have to go to heaven or hell but we have to decide on that while still alive - that's why God gave us a brain. If Michael put his trust in Jesus Christ before dying, we'll surely meet him in heaven but if he didnt it is bad news. He had a lot of fans, fame, money, property, family and friends but none of these are helpful to him anymore! That's why The Bible says in Matthew 6:19-21 "Do not store up riches for yourselves here on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and robbers break in and steal. Instead, store up riches for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and robbers cannot break in and steal. For your heart will always be where your riches are." How do we invest in our heavenly wealth while still alive? By giving our lives to Jesus Christ, choosing to live for Him, to serve Him, to follow His instructions, to live by the standard of the Bible and to die in Christ. The Bible says in Hebrews 9:27 "Everyone must die once, and after that be judged by God.". We preach Jesus Christ because without Him we can not stand before God as righteous people, we talk about the decision to be born again because God has given us the ability to choose and to control ourselves. And we also can't miss the subject of Judgment day because it is surely, surely coming. Michael is gone but the rest of us who can still breathe, we need to know that we are not paying God for the oxygen we are taking in and anytime He can stop providing it. But where will we end up after this life on earth?

His album Off the Wall was released when I was 18. At the time I had no particular favourite Pop Star but within days of listening to the ablum I became a loyal fan and bought every ablum released after that. I still listen to them and to this day can honestly say there is no track on any of those albums that I dont like but my favourite ever will always be Billie Jean. From 18 years of age one person without trying dominated my musical listening experience, that person was Michael Jackson who became and still is my favourite singer.

It was a privilege to have grown up listening to Michael Jackson's music right from his early years with the Jacksons. Never liked what he did to his face, or the allegations we heard about in the media but listening to his music I can't help but believe that although he was troubled and led a bizarre lifestyle, he had some good qualities as a person too.

It is very sad and shocking to learn of the death of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. Their deaths are too early for their lives. Prayers are with their family members as they mourn. A comment to those who wanted to say Michael's death was a media stunt, "Shame on you!!" How horrible of you to do make such a mockery. The saddest thing is looking back at the young Michael - that incredibly talented, professional, energetic young boy with the superb voice and handsome smiling face on stage. How could any man not die of a heart attack after the victimization he has endured? the world pretty much let another one of it's greats down. I'm glad he died an innocent man at least in the eyes of the laws of his homeland and those of us who loved the poor fella round the world.

I hear that Randy Phillips and organisers of O2 concerts are offering fans full refunds or they can have the tickets as souvenirs but no refunds. I feel that in the current financial climate, when people are struggling to make ends meet, they should consider letting people have the tickets as souvenirs but at a lesser cost than the original price.I'm sure that's fairer and what Michael would have wanted.

I think that Michael Jackson was a truly incredible man. I cry whenever I listen to "We Are the World" and, "You are not Alone". I wasn't around for the peak of his career, but being 17, I think its amazing that his music touched people my age. He was truley a legend. Music won't ever be the same again. xxxxxxxx
