Mashable - The Social Media Guide: LUNCHTIME POLL: What’s Your Favorite Twitter Photo Sharing Service?

  • Stacy Lukasavitz · 1 month ago
    MobyPicture FTW!
  • liveJ · 1 month ago
    My vote goes to Mobypicture.com
I like cross-posting function of this service
  • theComplex · 1 month ago
No favorite yet. I use Twitgoo for now but it doesn't let you format the Tweet and that annoys me.

I used Twitpic previously but I can't stand that it tracks every footprint INCLUDING the account holder's (ME). The only visits that should be tracked are visits from VISITORS.

I will try one of the one's listed above, perhaps yfrog.

Good point. I was tossing it back and forth. I only like that you can post it with comment IF you wanted to (upon upload) but after that (like you posted) any comments post anyway.

Ow.ly - It has the ability attach images or files with a comment. Good example here: http://ow.ly/i/1l4
  • quikness · 1 month ago
LOL. that IS a good example
  • Ryan Holmes · 1 month ago
Ow.ly! image, file and mp3 sharing.
  • G. Liu · 1 month ago
TWITPIC. It's the most simple and most used photo sharing service. TWITGOO is also cool.
  • sizemattic · 1 month ago
    Twitpic for sure

    Twitpic.

Flickr user? You can add Twitter as a "blog" to tweet photos via the web site and/or upload and tweet your own, even by email:

    http://www.flickr.com/services/twitter/
  • Jerry Zambrano · 1 month ago
I didn't know that. It's good to know. The one thing that I don't like about flickr (maybe I'm thinking of another image hosting service) is that only so much bandwidth allowed then your photo receives the "bandwidth limit reached"... Am I thinking of the wrong host?

Thanks for this info BTW -

    Jerry

    Posterous:
One stop sharing spot for all types of media - audio, image, pdf, ppt.
Autopost feature to most social networking sites like twitter, facebook & blogs
  • Jerry Zambrano · 1 month ago
I've always used Imageshack for everything pic related. This because Imageshack has a plug-in for FF that's very friendly.

Though, as of late I've been using Twitpic... but (of course) just for Twitter. It trended, lol
  • alfff · 1 month ago
I'm a fan of twitpic, and if that fails me Pikchur. But my primary is twitpic as of now.
  • marfi · 1 month ago
    favit

I like how the image is then displayed inline with the message, for example http://fav.ly/E8wOoM

  • masey9 · 1 month ago
    Hootsuite for sure! ;)
  • Maria Pielarska · 1 month ago
Twitpic. Not great, but its all I know..
  • Aviraj Saluja · 1 month ago
    The smart ones use Posterous.
    Like so: http://bit.ly/29d0zs
  • Cory Angen · 1 month ago
Pikchur. I like that it puts the link at the END of the tweet.
  • ShaneRounce · 1 month ago
I love twitpic because of it's awesome image display integration with Tweetie but yfrog seems to be compatible with more mobile twitter apps.
  • Flavio · 1 month ago
I use Mobypicture.com, which is very easy to configure on every mobile phone to send photos on-the-go to twitter and several other services, and interacts perfectly with many twitter applications for both mobile and desktop. Plus it locates photos on a personal map if they have coordinates.
  • dim · 1 month ago
    Mobypicture.com is a great service !
  • theo · 1 month ago
Flickr 2 Twitter gives you an email to use, it's perfect for mobile. It tweets and at the same time add to your Flickr account. It's all about consolidating client apps into one !t

    Tweetphoto :)
  • centdev · 1 month ago
TwitrPix - http://twitrpix.com because all of the cool tweeps use it. :)
  • Amelia · 1 month ago
I quite like that yfrog one....
  • adrianroselli · 1 month ago
Brightkite. It's like Twitter with photos and geolocation. They've had some major issues with their upgrade lately, but I still post to Brighkite and let it feed to Twitter for me.
  • zurito · 1 month ago
    Ow.ly (http://ow.ly) for the win!
  • @JoeHobot · 1 month ago
YFrog and TwitPic (YFrog for videos because I can upload them via my Droid hahah) and Twitpic because most Twitter users are use to it.
  • kirstenb · 1 month ago
definitely ow.ly! It tweets comments that you leave on photos. Great for conversation
  • quikness · 1 month ago
ow.ly is great and will be better once HootSuite's iPhone app drops. Dont Sleep!
  • sophiasian · 1 month ago
tweetie or best camera on my iphone, ow.ly on my laptop
  • Beau Giles  · 1 month ago
img.ly. Prettiest and less cluttered website of them all.
  • rob getzschman · 1 month ago
Flickr ftw because I can aggregate all my photos in the same service and post to Twitter by email. The others work great, but I've got login fatigue and don't want to sign up for any more networks than I have to.
  • jaycclee · 1 month ago
Posterous or Tumblr. Used yfrog once
  • Don MacAskill · 1 month ago

  • WilliamTM · 1 month ago
For Twitter, I always use TwitPic, and sometimes TwitVid.

For general photo sharing, I use Flickr, as it's nice and powerful, yet super easy to use and looks awesome too. :)
