    Agreed. Don't get this one.

Absolutely agree. There seems to be an epidemic of toolbars. Skip this one for something more relevant.

I love the simplicity of this concept and the integration right into the browser toolbar is great, although this is not something that has not been done before. However, fundamentally, unlike many other browser add-ons/plugins this one works across several browsers which makes it much more useful to end-users like Tom, Dick and Harry who each use Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Safari respectively.

If it supports Safari and FF then I'm sure some of the Chrome developers will be able to port it over. Only thing is that Chrome does not use a toolbar, instead it places the add-on on the bottom panel, so might be a challenge.

By the way. For Chrome users, there is already a Twitter add-on available.

Now, this would be the umpteenth browser bar cluttering browsers. And I don't think a name like "lu.ly" would sit well with the Dutch -- less the "y", it's the commonly used name for the male reproductive organ as well as a curse word. One of those things you have to keep in mind in a world without barriers, I guess...

Interesting and potentially useful...but it could end up being just another distraction. It's definitely cool that it offers cross browser support.

It does work with Safari using Leopard for some reason. I would like to try it. I hope they fix it so it works.
  • dennis · 1 month ago
I meant to say it does NOT work using Leopard. I would like to try it, but can't until they enable it.
