I thought it was hilarious. People need to lighten up and learn to appreciate comedy. We don't get all teary eyed and emotional when a crackhead ODs and dies, so why do we get emotional when other people try to break the law by crossing the border illegally? What? This key issue here is the basis of the marketing, not the source – i.e. in this case immigration as a hot topic, not “lawyers” as the instigators.</p><p>Without wanting to state the obvious, the very fact that something is “edgy” means it is “on the edge” of what is acceptable so there is always a considerable risk that the campaign will, at best, belly flop or, at worst, cause wide-spread offence.</p><p>As a *former* lawyer, but current marketer I don’t believe that lawyers are any better or any worse at marketing than any profession or sector.
