It is an interesting concept. Lot of individuals have been using http://TwitSnaps.com for the same purpose for over two months. They eat, shop and window-shop - and just go ahead and share

Can I share my purchase by starting with a tweet? Or do I have to use their web UI which will send a tweet for me? I would much prefer the former.

I'm doing something similar with my wine tasting website http://idrankthis.com. Users simply send a tweet to @idrankthis with a label photo and their tasting notes will be saved for them at http://idrankthis.com/[twitter_id]

right now, you need to go to the site ... the former is in the works though, I believe.

We'll activate this over the weekend once we get some traction going... so by monday, you can simple tweet with the #justbought and it will show up!

And media expressed concern over our twitter app @retrevoq because it would tweet users a quick product review if the product they were looking at while in a store was a good product to buy or not. They said they didn't want people to know what they were shopping for because potential theft. This one actually tells others what they bought, not just what users were shopping for. I guess if I were a thief I'd be scanning this service...or maybe the traditional media people we spoke with are out of touch.

Thanks Adam for the great review. If you have any questions, please tweet it over at @pallian!

Hmm not sure if that will catch on. What problem does it solve?

With enough users, I'm guessing it hopes to show shopping trends to advertisers, etc. as well as help people find out where to find the stuff they want.

ETA: Oh! Full disclosure: I've been using this service for a few days (was actually a beta user shortly before it opened its doors to everyone), but they don't pay me or anything. LOL.

Thanks Belinda for beta trying... we have a few things in the works that we'll roll out the next few weeks that will answer Darren's questions... stay tuned :-)

Sounds fantastic. I only hope that such a great service does not end up abused by marketers or business owners submitting false purchases in order to advertise.

Twitter is like a breath of fresh air on the Social Media scene. I have been on it for just a few weeks now and I have met several interesting people. It is a platform to network with people you would like to meet in real life.

I like the concept just dont know if it will last. If there was reviews on it I would like that better. I'm looking for what phone i should get. Through Verizon the iPhone and Palm Pre aren't options so I would be interested in reviews with what you bought.
