I heard that iphone is moving from AT&T to Verizon because Verizon has a better network. I also heard that AT&T is going to increase the fees to iphone users. I am am currently with AT&T, and looking to upgrade two iphones. Both contracts are up this month. I don't want to upgrade with AT&T if iphone is moving to Verizon because I will be locked into a new contract with AT&T. Althought AT&T is a nightmare to deal with from customer service to the poor network, we have other family members on the same plan. Their contracts don't expire for another year and half. Do you know anything about this AT&T/Verizon deal with iphone?

I finally got the update downloaded this week and rebooted. Sent some pics today and they were all received. BUT I can not receive pics - my friends keep getting message "your message can not be sent" or something like that. They are sending from non-IPhones and send pics all the time to others!!! Anyone have a thought

my iphone is still not working with MMS even after installing the update, rebooting my phone, even restoring and backing it up - what the heck?????

You have to reboot the phone to activate MMS.

I downloaded the update on itunes and rebooted my iphone 3g and i dont see the mms anywhere!!! WTF

I can't get the update window to appear when I try to download the carrier update. I did everything else. Updated to 3.1, updated itunes, rebooted phone. iTunes says the phone does not need to be updated and the carrier update is not there???

mms stopped working all of the sudden it keeps saying error your message was not able to send can anyone help it was working fine

I can't sent MMS ( "your message can't be sent" ) I call (9/25) CS and they did not know that the service was operational, just wait a week and call back was the response.

Yup. I've go it. After updating Carrier & then power cycling phone.
For some reason I had to re-power cycle again however to get Data working again. Not sure why but all is ok now after 2 power cycles.

Not intuitively obvious. I "rebooted" and I see a little camera icon next to the message....it works. I expect the 3rd party dev houses will improve, quickly!!
