It could possibly be used as a way for Promotion for a specific Brand that could be exchanged everyday but that probably isn't very likely to happen. I feel that a similar structure to how Twitter operates would be suitable, recommending the most popular people - heck - Twitter's recommendation delivered me to this website.

I hope that they don't replace him at all. It always annoyed me that Tom was everybody's friend -- it meant that everybody was at most two degrees of separation away.
I don't know if MySpace measures that anymore, but I was always curious about that when I was looking at a profile. And it was always the same. And it was Tom's fault.

I hope he stays. When I took the time to write him something long & thoughtful, he actually replied. His answers stunned me. They are working on some awesome stuff. What other President of a billion dollar company would interact with his customers? That's amazing if you think about it. I know he cares about the community. I'm sure that's more than you can say for any MBA suit that they'll try to put in there to replace him.
