verizon isnt saying iphone is a crappy phone. its saying that the a bad network could even make a brilliant phone trash...read between the lines...i almost went to at&t for the iphone but i stayed hoping that iphone will be released on the verizon network. so im settling for my blackberry for now. hopefully the rumors are true.

Apple would be fooliish if they dont go to Verizon.. Do you understand how much MORE MONEY they will make??.. Plus the Verizon network is more realiable than AT&T.. Its not trash talk its the TRUTH!!.. They only reason AT&T is still floating is becuase of the IPHONE.. Verizon is the #1 cell phone distributor in the nation.. ( and thats a fact)

I hope it is true that Verizon will be an alternative SP of iPhone next year. I am a big fan of iPhone, but not of AT&T. It is time to give iPhone users some choices for SPs and put an end on AT&T's iPhone monopoly free ride. With some competition, hopefully, we don't have to pay monthly fees for data as high as we are paying AT&T now ($30/month). Cheers for Apple.

If this comes to fruition, I think the ads could be great if done right.

Apple could spoof Verizon's spoof, something like "Well, Verizon, there's a solution for that... Introducing the vPhone---just don't call it an iPhone".

Verizon could further spoof their own ads and their "sleeping with the enemy" flip-flop...

i rlly like the iphone but for it to come to verizon is a good idea for them to make more money but having it stay at att makes the iphone more elite and i think the minute the iphone comes to verizon you will see 7 year olds using them so many people will have it so it will be just another 1 to 2 year fad unless apple improves the iphone

IPHONE 3GS SUCKS why u think they keep comming out with more iphone upgrades such as going from iphone first gen to 2nd the 3GS it should have already been 3GS at first , DROID WILL KILL IPHONE'S ............ i tested both iphone 3GS vs DROID / DROID BEATS THE iphone as far as speed and DROID has a better screen resolution then iphone....

DROID DOES LOOK BETTER THEN THE IPHONE, I HAVE BOTH PHONES MY SELF AN IPHONE 3GS AND DROID DROID IS MUCH FASTER AND YOU CAN DO MORE WITH DROID OVER IPHONE AND SO FAR I HAVE NOT RUN INTO ANY PROBLEMS WITH DROID...ISSUES WITH IPHONE'S AND LAGS I FIND THAT THE DROID IS FASTER THEN 3GS,3G and the STORM 2, i mean i work with IPHONE I can do anythign i want to an iphone Jailbreak it unlock it ya ya ya but my Apple fan is fading im swinging to DROID !@! all the way Welcome !! but if Verizon does come out with an I phone cool i will stick with the droid AT&T i had issues with them with dead spots and drop calls Verizon i can to to places that AT&T would not reach, verizon came out with something better then Iphone so why would they want i phone to Verizon but anyways GOOD LUCK ON THE RACE!!!!!! Its not going to happen. Apple never 'takes steps backwards" as they see it. Adding cdma or any older or slower wireless technology to their phone doesn't their model.

They may make a move to a different 3g only network... but they wont cdma their devise. Mark. My. Words.

It seemed like Verizon chose the droid; and that Apple twisted Verizon which was the reason why, right?
... iphone could however benefit from VZ's better network. ATT has a lot of issues lately.

They shouldn't. The point of my comment was to support the idea that Apple will make it available to Verizon because, although they like to position themselves as a boutique elite company, they'll trade their image for few bucks. Book it.

I actually got fed up with my broken BlackBerry earlier this week and purchased the Droid. Just to test it out... my suspicions have been confirmed that I don't like it. I'm returning it and getting a warranty replacement BlackBerry to use until the VZW iPhone is released.

I'm with Verizon and have a Blackberry Storm that I hate. I want an iPhone really bad. Verizon has a much better network, cause I was with AT&T for six years and had terrible coverage. Please Verizon take me out of my misery!!

I think the attacks are about what the iPhone wont do...because of the limitations of the single carrier. Think about the iPhone..with excellent call quality/reception. How much would you pay for that?...

They're reception is almost as bad as AT&T and they are likely to go out of business soon because of their debt they are berried in due to the lack of customers!
