I have spammers trying to latch onto my account all the time - who don't they stop them? This is disgraceful. What a bunch of clowns.

In addition to suspended account, there have been thousands of us who have lost all of our followers and following data... Seems like they are being hit while they are down (DOS attacks).

That's shocking news but this will probably improve the service of twitter. Its not very unusual situation to any new and successful site like twitter. Hope to get things good.

Apparently the problem is still ongoing. I have had my account suspended and have been in twitter's revolving hell..(isn't that supposed to be help?) for the last several days. The need to get their customer service problem figured out or all the buzz will become bad buzz..

Apparently the problem is stil persisting. I was suspended with no cause and have been in customer service revolving hell...er is that supposed to be help?

Yep, Akerbeltz is having the same issue with the status changed to resolved when it clearly isn't and now they have said that they are aware of the suspended accounts not being unsuspected as a known bug. Hmm, really the customer service really lacks any meaning of customer service. A bungle like this really needs better handling and more communication to the users.

the funny and sad part that twitter helps keeps on making this bogus claim that the issue has been resolved and closes the request even when the account is suspended. take the case of my 3 twitter ids 1)bombaytimes 2)gaychennai 3) gaybangalore
for last couple of weeks i have been complaining and the twitter support then close the request saying issue has been been resolved. pasting my correspondence with twitter below

Our @voipstore account has been suspended, and I opened a ticket. Almost immediately the ticket was marked as "solved", so I replied that it is still suspended. This morning the ticket was marked as "solved" again although it is clearly not.

I've been blocked 6 of the last 7 days and I'm sure it's China blocking me and doubt that my account has been suspended by Twitter. I figure it's China blocking Twitter because of the riots of late in Northern China. I use DestroyTwitter and cannot log on through the app. Can't log on at Twitter either. I'm starting to miss tweeting. Yikes!!!

I was suspended yesterday then could use my Twitter account last night...only to wake up suspended again... all.... day... and even though I submit a request, the queue says I have no requests. FRUSTRATING!

the more followers i get with my education/second life tweeting the more spammers i have to block...i block anyone who is "selling" anything or trying to use twitter to make money as i also block people who seem to have anything to do with pr0n. i love to get new followers but i don't *need* them so bad as to lower my standards. this suspending is worrisome.

My Account says, Mosey along and suspended as well! Twitter lacks Security and cannot protect its own user bgs too. In fact, we should SUSPEND TWITTER as how come our Twitter bgs are stolen esp. by amazon aws and thrown in our website bgs?

Every time we send a Twitter Support ticket, they show the many urls like terms and services and other things without any proper satisfactory answer. I had spotted this in January and informed them. Again, in in May end, the same thing is repeated. In fact, using Twitter, we are in trouble and life in 140 characters do not make easy but more tedious! My tweets were related to kids, parents and children and my website related...There's seriously faults with Twitter programming itself, Believe me!
