yea , you say true . i live in iran and i am a developer , i always try to follow the news on internet and share it on tweeter , facebook , youtube , ... . but iran's government filtered all political websites and all websites that contain political comments , i can bypass filter but all people who they have a simple knowledge of computer can not access , today the problem is having a simple way to bypass filters that it cannot possible without powerful proxy servers to support over 40 million users online to bypass filter.

It looks that the 'leaders' that control everything they don't give a crap about the people and they pretend they believe in GOD ,meanwhile they're killing their own people and Usa is doing nothing,hm if seen this before when Turkey invated Greece and occupied half of Cyprus by killing inocent people

It is not just 2-3 people in power that these protesters are facing.!!! . It is an entire army of revolutionary guards and the militia who are heavily armed . They are brave to face them, and they are dying out in the streets. These thugs number in millions. I know the politics of Iran. I salute the bravery of Iranian people.

The Internet, TV and other electronic media are changing the world. When oppressed people see via TV or the internet or other media, they see how good life can be and want it for themselves. This is happening all over the world now and, at least in Iran, the educated multitudes have had enough of what they don't want. Thank God for global electronic media.

Is there any security advice we can give to Iranian Twitter users about how to keep their real idenfity concealed? Changing their real names? Setting up temp/forwarding email addresses, etc.? I can't seem to find anything online.
