Confirmation that if I had not deleted my account, Twitter would have taken over my life.

What a great guide, thanks. I often find it easy to lose track of time when i get super-involved. It can be hard to make real relationships ( http://www.tcapushnpull.com/?p=268 ) while still reaching many people, and not sucking up a lot of time!

Harvest (www.getharvest.com) lets you track time and log expenses from anywhere via Twitter.

Myflightinfo is a great idea for an app, that's something I will definitely try next time I'm wheels up.

@daylife_feed has been particularly useful. Biggest appeal to me is that I can limit the number of tweets I receive.

I wasn't aware of any of this stuff, so thanks for the post. Like the Google Latitude thing, the very idea of an expense tracker creeps me out. Sending off my expenses or location info into cyberspace ... no thanks.

Elliott, these are some great tools! Thanks for sharing!

Also, your piece shows promise of Twitter beyond micro-blogging and conversation. Could prove to be an even more valuable service.

Don't get the forecaster. How the heck do you get rid of it if you decide you don't want it anymore?

Ooh, like the @timer didn't know about that one.

    So I'd have...
"d timer 60 Oi! Your 60 minutes of tweeting is up buddy"

Tried using twitter - great for people who spend all their time in front of a computer, but normal people will never use it.

"keep your ugly tweeting habit " Niiiiiice! ;) Thanks for the tips. Today was a particularly un-productive day - and I'm blaming Twitter! Will check out some of the tools you mention. I don't necessarily want to "live inside Twitter," but I do like the instant link to news and friends.

Wow! a lot of apps to help you to be more productive i think, but it seems also to be more twitter Dependant ...
I don't know, seems very nice, if you already chose live in the cloud it could be very great.

So i will follow these advises !
    Thanks

nice list of useful Twitter functions, which I agree, points more toward the
undiscovered possibilities within Twitter... but I also think that unless you're
on an ancient computer, Twitter isn't the only app running. I find that tools
which allow me to tweet messages while I'm working elsewhere are actually more
likely to keep my productivity from sucking than the other way around...

The irony of course is that I should be working but once again find myself following links to blog posts from Twitter........... it would take more than that I'm afraid to counter my Twitter unproductiveness!

Live *inside* Twitter?! I just knew Twitter was a virtual world! I've been saying it all along...

That is a long list of things that can be done on tweeter. Is there a place to find out other things that can be done on Tweeter?
