I find it very easy to add new post with just an email. It kinda compliments a lot of services just like what you have mentioned.

I will be exploring how I can push this further with its flexibility...

Re: HOW TO: Get the Most Out of Posterous

If the gallery is already published, I don't think there is currently a
way to add images. However, as with many things, I believe this feature
is on the way. If in doubt, send your question to help@posterous.com.
They answer rather quickly, and will probably confirm my thought on this
feature.

Re: HOW TO: Get the Most Out of Posterous

I love the way PicPosterous allows you to add pictures to a gallery. Is there anyway to do this; add more pictures to a published gallery (post) from e-mail?

Re: HOW TO: Get the Most Out of Posterous

"But I don't want to learn another social media tool!" http://bit.ly/A1cqg Sharing and shortcuts re: Posterous, Soup.io, Sharein and FriendFeed

Re: HOW TO: Get the Most Out of Posterous

If you are a fan of Dial2do as I am, you can use it to send posts to Posterous as well. Just add the post addresses you want to your email contacts. Then just say "email" and follow the prompts, telling it to send the mail to Posterous. That's it. Nothing could be easier, and everything you say is transcribed and a link will be posted so that others can hear your original message.

Dial2do: http://www.dial2do.com

Re: HOW TO: Get the Most Out of Posterous

Another tip is to host on your own domain. (You mentioned it as a feature, but not listed in Tips and Tricks.)

Posterous doesn't mention it, but I discovered you can also use their instructions to host on a subdomain, which makes it perfect for building a companion to your main blog. I did that with http://mini.softwareas.com.

Re: HOW TO: Get the Most Out of Posterous

Sound's Great!! :)

Re: HOW TO: Get the Most Out of Posterous

your article is very informative for me.keep it up

Re: HOW TO: Get the Most Out of Posterous

Fantastic post, Jen!
