I will definitely try this out. I was erroneously suspended from Twitter recently and it took 11 days to get it sorted out. In the mean time, I was lost without my Twitter list.

Re: HOW TO: Back Up Your Tweets

You can get the Twitter part free at http://backupmytweets.com/.

Re: HOW TO: Back Up Your Tweets

I use DropBox (http://getdropbox.com) to backup my files because it lets me keep a copy on my laptop and on their servers. I use http://tweetake.com/ once a month to grab all my tweets and save them off to a DropBox folder so they'll be backed up. All my Flickr photos are in my DropBox folders before they even get uploaded to Flickr, so I have a backup of everything I need except for Facebook.

-k

Re: HOW TO: Back Up Your Tweets

Where is this program then?

Re: HOW TO: Back Up Your Tweets

Pfft, this is rubbish. I wrote a program to back up your Tweets months ago, as well as a program to search your Tweets or the Tweets of any user who you are able to see the feed of, and I let it out for FREE.

Re: HOW TO: Back Up Your Tweets

Just you cannot search for twits older than 14 days. Just take a look at their Terms of Service and you won't sleep any better. You pay for the service yet there's the following term: "Company, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service, or any other Company service, FOR ANY REASON AT ANY TIME."

I think my data is safer with Flickr or Wordpress. Get real, why would anyone pay you and get NO assurance whatsoever from it.

Re: HOW TO: Back Up Your Tweets

Hey! http://www.tweetbackup.com is free and http://www.blogbackupr.com is also a free service!

Re: HOW TO: Back Up Your Tweets

www.TweetTranslate.com has a cool feature that stores all your translated tweets and lets you re-tweet in realtime

Re: HOW TO: Back Up Your Tweets

Do i have to pay?
Hahahaha i prefer to write all my tweets again!

Re: HOW TO: Back Up Your Tweets

I can't imagine that anyone reads past the first page or two of someones tweets very often.
