Certainly interesting to see Twitter being used as a sort of public chat room (and thanks to trending topics it can certainly create some buzz!)

i love seeing technology being leveraged in such a fashion. it's all about confluence, isn't it?

i have always appreciated the application of technology for communication except in this instance where i cant stand any of these spoiled elitists. Any press is good press though. Will i watch the show...doubt it!

Bravo TV has been utilizing social media like a champ this year.

They've got their website on lock down and now this twitter outreach is going to take them to the next level.

This is a fantastic idea in theory. Unfortunately, BravoTV failed miserably on the follow through.

The website was miserably slow and Twitter authentication never worked for me. Much less, Bravo only started using Twitter a few days before the event, and pretty much only tweeted about the event/ joining their mobile fan club over and over for the week before the event. And they encouraged users to tag all tweets "@bravotv" instead of "#bravotv" in an effort to become a trending topic... I'm pretty sure it doesn't work like that.

Ok, off my soap box. I love Bravo and the Housewives ... and that's why I'm so disappointed about this one.
