Dave, good post. I have definitely never lived in Socialism or any other
ism but capitalism. I can honestly state that I have no interest in living
under any other system.

My parents, here in the US had it much better than I do and my kids will
have given the current state of the US economy. All you have to look at is
the base sticker price of a car, cost of a house, cost for food, and all
utilities to see that even with lower salaries of yester-year my parents
were so much better off. Heck in my lifetime all of these costs have risen
in spite of market conditions that should have leveled some of them off and
reigned in others.

I find it fascinating that the same problem that ruins other isms, also
ruins capitalism; that is unscrupulous individuals. It would be funny if
it was not so pathetic.

First of all, Happy (belated) Birthday to Google! I just wanted to say that Google had and still has a great impact in my life. Ever since they went online (I recall using it since at least '98) I have been a fan. To me, Google search is intuitive, clean, easy and fast-everything I want it to be. Keep up the great work guys!

Thank you Goog11e!! When is Blackle's birthday? Once it's standard for screens to consume less energy when less light is emitted, I think this site with each click going to a community cause would be awesome.

Have you actually lived in socialism? The most people condeming it are the people that have never felt it. I was born under so called socialism "regime" and my parents lived under it almost whole their life. And guess what, they keep saying how they lived a better lives back than. It's not the problem in the system it's the problem in people who exploits the systems. And yeah, Russia is not the only former socialist country.

Anyway, happy birthday Google. I hope I will have the similar destiny as one of Googles founders. Born in socialism and get rich in capitalism :)
