To me Bing is just a pretty picture and Google is simple and sleek. It is way better than Bing! I tired Bing once and ended up going to Google because i did not like Bing's results. and also who actually says i going to bing it? I like I am going to Google it. Google is a way better name then Bing!

For days I have tried to get some hits from Bing but get absolutely nothing. I have advertised using the same key words as on Google. E.G. "Roman Coins", Greek Coins" and many others.
On Google I get on average 3000 imprints every day. On Bing I got 5 during two days.
After lengthy phone calls with Bing, I get the first explanation: Bing does not have enough searches for my keywords so my add will not show up. When I explain that if I search myself I get 5 imprints from other websites, nothing from mine. The explanation now changes to "You did not enter a high enough amount for each click". To get trafic I have to offer $1.00 or more. The 0.10 that I offered was not enough.
I will stay with Google. What use is Bing if your add never shows up?

That is very interesting. I typed in three random keywords and each time I chose the one I felt had better results. Three times it was Google. It is very interesting to see the differences in results across the three.

Well, I took a look at bing and I noticed that it's nothing more than the old Live Search spiced up with pretty background images. The search results are ironically as innaccurate as the the TV commercials that show people with "search overload". I have to hand it to Microsoft though, they do have a pretty good marketing team but Google has a far superior search algorithym.

Very interesting... I chose google, yahoo, bing for my 3 most searched keywords... I'm not sure there's much difference in them really, what would be interesting is comparing the top 50 results from a million keywords... hmmm, i feel an experiment coming on...

well, that´s strange. i did a similar test with german words only. the result was very surprising. bing delivered the much better results. in 12 out of 20 results was bing. well, maybe 20 is not representative figure. however, i was very amazed. maybe microsoft did a good job this time?

I have to be blind to not see how much better Google is in most searches (by the way, I did use the blindsearch and was able to guess which results were Google each time).

I love the show options feature that allows you to dig down into your
results by video,blog,images and by date of result match. I also am a big
fan of the wonder wheel for free keyword research. Those are my user
friendly favs in google.

I'm curious in what ways you find Google more user-friendly than Yahoo. I'm not arguing with your assessment; I'm just trying to find out the reason for it.

If I go to Yahoo's website to search, I use http://search.yahoo.com/ rather than the Yahoo home page. It's a minimal interface more like Google.

While I chose Yahoo most of the time in the blind search, I do understand how user-interface if very important. I score Bing very high in this area. I like the little previews of content, the related links in the sidebar, etc.

I did a search for "iPhone 3G S". While the results may have updated since I ran the search, ONLY Yahoo had links to post-WWDC info about the new iPhone release.

Count me in. I did three searches and chose the Yahoo results all three times. I ranked my results though and Bing came in second 2 out of the 3 times.

Interesting.
