    Seems it would be a good move for google to acquire brightcove. Existing video monetization model that seems to be working. Might be able to apply some learning to youtube. Really bums me out that iBeam was just way too early in video :-(

    That would be a good acquisition for Google. They already dominate Video with Youtube. Birghtcove would allow them to further monetize in the Video Market.

    Brightcove is the youtube of b2b in that it has videos you can share. The quality of those videos though is far superior, better than Vimeo's compressions scheme I'd even venture to say. Thats a pretty exciting thing right there. I'd say this was a smart move for technology and a working ad rev model.

    likely so ... also a way to quickly gain access to lots of video that's easier to monetize than ugc
