Google is the scariest company in the world. The company knows who you talk to, what you say to them, when you have to be somewhere, how you get there, where you live, when you go to sleep, when you get fired, what business you are in and much, much more. Do you really think that Google would delete the data it has about you? That means that if it did it would have to start all over and in the process be making less money, because you will not be clicking on more effective targeted ads. Evil!

Being generally skeptical about dominant players (as Google is increasingly becoming), I have to cheer for more competition in the search market.
I just don't know what to think when Schmidt says that we have to believe Google when it says it delete our personal data!

i think he was talking about Antitrust..... since Google is a huge monopolist with far more power and potential for evil than Microsoft ever imagined, it is a very legitimate concern for Schmidt. I predict they will be taken down hard by the government eventually.

Haven't watched the video but he might be talking about all of the lawsuits Microsoft faced or initiated. That ate up a lot of their time & resources.
