Mashable - The Social Media Guide: Google Chrome OS: Will It Kill Windows?

  • Martin · 5 months ago
Oh please...Mashable the link baiting posts and tweets are getting boring.

Google are simply going to release a stripped down Linux OS and badge it Chrome.

Google want lots of people (aka open source community) to help them Googlise it and then Google will say it’s something new and make millions of dollars off the back of ‘free’ work done by others.

Microsoft have a big announcement on Monday according to Scoble http://bit.ly/17qgzq and Google are trying to distract the market (after the past few months of coverage of BING) and try and pull back some of the volume and positive sentiment around Windows 7.

I would hardly be trying to beat the crap out of a non-announcement about an old is new again Linux OS but I guess blatant link baiting and traffic driving is the main game these days online.

"Google are simply going to release a stripped down Linux OS and badge it Chrome."

Even if that's true, this is still huge as Google has trust built into its brand by so many users that it might truly push Linux onto mainstream users desktops. While I love Ubuntu, and have my mom rocking and rolling on Ubuntu (she emails and browses the web, nothing else, it works and I don't have to clean up viruses) many people are still scared of Linux.

But if it comes from Google they might give it a shot, love the speed and security of it and finally ditch Windows (and more importantly Internet Explorer).

"is based off its Chrome (Chrome) browser" ...
Hahaha, do you guys even know what an operating system is. This operating system will be just a linux distribution. I know you often sell your opinions as news, but at least try to know a bit about what you talk about ...
  • Siddhesh Joglekar · 5 months ago
Mashable does it again... You guys simply keep speculating and creating hype . I would have liked to hear rational arguments from this blog atleast. Forget killing Windows, let the OS launch first.
  • dangrossman · 5 months ago
It's a copy of Linux with Chrome running on it.

How exactly will this kill Windows any more than Linux has done so in the past 15 years?
  • casey · 5 months ago
and I haven't seen any linux tv ads in those years. Google has the money and audience Linux needs.
  • notbanksy · 5 months ago
Branding, my friend! Google has the trust factor to bring linux to a mass market. If netbooks are sold with Chrome OS pre-installed, and they're cheaper than Win 7 netbooks (face it, they will be), people are going to buy them. Linux is making headway thanks to Google - lets just hope they make a decent job of it and don't ruin it by putting ads all over the OS.
  • markfinch · 5 months ago
    Dan,

That is the last thing it is. When people first heard Google was going to develop a browser they had this same sentiment. Firefox with a Google logo was common. I have no inside information or access but I can guarantee that the last thing this will be is Linux booting Chrome.

They could have launched that years ago. As everything Google does, it will be incredibly well thought out and some of the smartest technology you will ever use. They understand that they need to have working print drivers for the majority of printers, they understand video drivers will need to just work, they even know that people want Photoshop to run on it.

The area that they will be closed out is video games. Microsoft owns DirectX and OpenGL stacks. This doesn't effect business buyers, but does have a significant impact on sales. If Apple could run video games without booting a Virtual Machine or rebooting into Windows more people would buy Apples. It will be interesting to see how Google Approaches 3D.
  • Scot · 5 months ago
"Microsoft owns DirectX and OpenGL stacks. "

    OpenGL is an open standard.

However, I don't think it matters if Gaikai works as advertised. That runs games in the cloud and uses flash as a "Game Terminal Server Client". If Chrome OS supports flash then Gaikai could supply the games. Even better, limited devices like netbooks could run games that their hardware just doesn't support. The biggest problem is the need to have an internet connection.
  • Mergentrecords · 5 months ago
My feelings is that Google OS will be free, but hopefully they will keep the ads off of the actual operating system, allowing users to have some type of privacy, but i wouldnt mind ads placed on the browser and having google apps and programs running... as long as its not REALLY obtrusive, google should be able to pose a threat... Microsoft will be around for a long time to come.
  • zbowling · 5 months ago
It just better not be based on Android or it already fails.
  • Marcell · 5 months ago
I do not think google os will beat Apple or Windows just because windows and apple are experience company's with operating systems and know what the users want..

Google is trying to pursue everything at the moment because they have no competition..Cant wait to see what the future has in store.
  • tehinsider · 5 months ago
    No, it cant.
Because Google OS = web-apps. & Microsoft = real apps.
  • muz · 5 months ago
have you not tried any of googles non-web-apps, such as sketch-up or picasa?

MS tries in vain to take it's "real-apps" from the desktop to the web, while Google is already there, no need to go backwards and stifle their web-apps by fixing them to the desktop, Google OS will be web-based, reliant on the internet and all data should sit on a remote server, along with the apps.. keeping the local PC clean and quick and secure.

Wasn't there already an attempt with Gos? That didn't get too far as far as I know so what would be different with this OS?
  • Dario Meli · 5 months ago
This was my thought too. Surprised the author didnt mention it. Hell, even Walmart was selling those machines but they didnt last too long.
  • Scot · 5 months ago
gos wan't from google - it was some other company rebranding Ubuntu with links to Google's apps.
  • wewillchange · 5 months ago
I would imagine the motivation is to get people onto the web and to use their web services. I doubt there will be any ads built into the OS. But hey, you never know.
  • gn · 5 months ago
Why would Google's OS support Microsoft Word? They are providing web based office applications, so why should they support some bloated proprietary Windows mammoth applications? The author of this article seems to be obsessed with old world operating systems that he can not think fresh at all. And that's why Windows has not gone anywhere since version 3.0.
  • Jon · 5 months ago
The Google Chrome OS will do well until they're sued for bundling their browser with the OS like another company was...

And then everyone will hate them for having a larger market share than Linux and Apple's OS.
  • muz · 5 months ago

You know... Linux already prevents viruses & malware with it's security permissions. Ubuntu Linux already handles automatic security updates. I can even tweak it to make it look like a Mac. Linux also runs underneath Apple's Mac OSX. Google Chrome also uses Linux. When will Microsoft use Linux?
  • Scot · 5 months ago
"Linux also runs underneath Apple's Mac OSX"

No, Linux isn't underneath OSX - what lies beneath OSX is BSD running on top of a Mach microkernel. OS/X's closest living relative is FreeBSD. They're (for the most part) unrelated to Linux.
  • danielnylin · 5 months ago
I don't think neither Linuxdistros, Chrome OS or OS X will kill Windows. What I hope is that there will be many operating systems out there, and interoperability a necessity, also for Microsoft.

I can't see it significantly challenging Microsoft at this early stage because so many computers come with Windows already installed. If it can be run alongside windows, or as you can on a Mac, flip between different operating systems, then it might get established. People could use their Windows for their PC based experience and Google for their web experience.

Mind you, I would love an OS that actually boots up quickly. I get fed up of waiting 3 or 4 minutes for Windows to load!! ;)
  • Adam T · 5 months ago
Operating Systems which use the Linux Kernel usually boot up in between 25-60 seconds.. and then you don't have to wait an additional 2 minutes for other programs which load right after the user has logged in..

  • phil-c · 5 months ago
Perhaps it will be an OS designed to sit on top of another operating system (or parallel boot) - thereby extending the existing vanilla user experience to include interaction with true and light-weight web-based applications in a desktop environment, whilst also running their other applications that are reliant on another platform? Alternatively, you may be able to run the OS stand-alone if you desire.
  • sujit · 5 months ago
There is nothing clear news yet ....... google is making hip hop in the market.... but the news is gr8 waiting for it....... make it free though ;)
  • Cheryl McDonnell · 5 months ago
The only good way to compete with MS at their level is to charge for this OS. Albeit charge LESS than for windows. It's not even been launched yet, and when it does it will spend many months in beta before the RC. People forget, it wasn't microsoft, linux, apple or google that was the brainchild of the machines we use today.
  • Paul · 5 months ago
I'm all for a Google OS. Microsoft has domiated for far too long. Linux is nice but I make music & the major music co's (Logic/Live/Reason/Cubase etc) are scared to touch it. If Google is a real, not virtual OS, then they will have the might to persuade the big sotware companies to port their software over to Google OS so that you have a choice. Also Google Chrome is the best web browser & this is the 1st attempt from Google, how long has Microsoft been at it with Internet Explorer & yet its still slower/clumsy etc?
  • wonkette · 5 months ago
I hear that MS has been working on a new streamlined browser for a while (probably influenced by the success of Safari and Chrome) to replace IE.

Chrome surly will be a striped down Linux, but for those who are not Linux users and who are bitching about drivers etc. Linux changes every single day, its improves, it develops its fast and stable and free from viruses. Ok it does not get direct support from all the cheap hardware manufactures, but the Linux community does an very good job of reverse engineering. Instead of bitching we should be celebrating. Even yesterday, I was forced by a client to use a Windows XP machine and I plugged an Optical mouse, I could not believe it when it started asking me for drivers. That has never happened to me with Linux and I have been using Linux for over 15 years as my desktop, I haven't touched Microsoft in all this time. Sure Chrome will be a Linux based OS and why not its fab, the community of millions of people working together not for money but for you and me, have already built a wonderful OS big cheer for you.

When was the last time you did something for people of this planet for no money????

Linux is what make the Internet happen, if it wasn't for Linux and the open source community you would not be seeing this website that runs on Apache (Open Source) and 99.9% chance it running on Linux. Don't forget about your DVD play and your MP3 players and any other embedded cheap equipment, 99.9% of them run Linux.

So my advice to you is stop bitching about Linux and learn to use it, if you don't one day you will be left behind. Because one thing is for sure, Linux no matter what happens is not going away. In this time of uncertainty with climate change, when the s**t hits the fan, its going to be the open source community with there free software and tools and there model of free thinking that will win the day.

My tip for you is find a Linux Distribution that suites the job at hand. Desktop - Mandriva or Ubuntu (But Ubuntu is still very young), Server - Fedora CentOS, Debian. They are all free and most have Live CD's so you can test them. But take my word for it, you wont learn until you install it as your primary environment. So free your self

It's linux. It;s not going to be able to run word or photoshop! Unless they build WINE into it, which would only make it bloated and unusable anyway. It's going to be full of apps such as Picasa, Openoffice, and you'll be able to download GIMP, inkscape etc. This is a threat not only to Microsoft, but to all closed source software.
  • Deon Kok · 5 months ago
Windows still runs the tensile tester, OES, XRD etc in the labs near me, it runs the SCADA boxes, product scanners etc on the factory floor I work at, POS systems in the shops, ATMs and my wife's embroidery machine. So get coding on these thousands of minority apps and dream on about MS Windows disappearing.
  • Joe Dawson · 5 months ago
Google won't 'kill' Microsoft but competition drives innovation and as the consumer we will benefit!
  • wonkette · 5 months ago
I agree. ChromeOS won't kill Windows any more than Bing will kill Google search. These competing products (ChromeOS and Bing) require a while to reach high enough market share, even if given away for free. And even if ChromeOS is free, the netbooks won't be free altho cheap. I like to see much more diversity in the OS marketplace and the search market. Besides I am sick of seeing all those stupid "Ads by Google" everywhere on everybody's page. I realize that some one must click on them to generate money for users and Google, but who? I've never clicked on one. In fact, I wish I could block these on every page I go to. I'm that tired of them.
  • Adrian · 5 months ago
Google Chrome OS stands more chance to kill Google than to kill MSFT
Much like the Chrome browser is not heading for significant market share despite blogosphere initial excitement, there's no motivation for consumers to switch to a google light OS. I heard it said that Google's idea of customer service is "go f&^k yourself and here's a discussion board". That wont work with Joe-consumer who cant get drivers for his new Googlebook for his Lexmark printer and Epson scanner. From a branding persepctive, there isnt an available niche - the 'user experience' contender is Apple, thank you very much, and the 'price' + 'Geek' contender is Ubonto. but the resources and management attention required here may be a distraction from Google's core challenges of serving advertisers and agencies and protecting Google Search.
  • Kuan Jiang · 5 months ago
    It's an interesting competition.
MicroSoft has its empire. There are a lot of companies living on it. They won't let Windows die, at least they won't let it be killed easily.
  • Brad F. · 5 months ago
I think Google OS will be appealing to people simply because of the name. Everyone's looking for a viable alternative to Windows that's affordable, and so far there isn't one. Who I would worry about more though is Apple. They charge premium prices for their products, claiming that they "just work" and have a highly user friendly interface. That's the same road Google's going, and Google's voice is louder in the crowd between the two.

However, Google seems to usually release lightweight products. Sometimes they're so lightweight that they even shoot themselves in the foot. I mean, look at how much Chrome is still missing. If they were to release an OS, I somehow doubt it would be much more than a tablet PC type OS. I can't see it doing anything heavy. Maybe it would run Google Docs, but somehow that's just not that appealing. Not unless they really upgrade it to be compatible with other word processors. The last time I tried importing my resume to Google Docs the formatting was so screwed up I just deleted it.

Anyways, I'm anxious to see how this turns out. Google handphones... Google computers... Google internet...

"is clearly Google’s challenge to Microsoft’s longstanding domination of the OS market"

no its clearly not! windows vista is not a netbook os! those are two different things. Applications designed for chromeos will also run in oter browser, but only in browser, this means you will be able to use those chromeos applications on vista, but vista apps wont work for sure in your chromeos. google doesnt want to beat microsoft with their chromeos, they just want to create a good netbbok os, thats all. I wish google would announce a new OS that would run on desktops and that could compeet with vista or windows7, but for that we probably have to wait a little bit more ;)

  • Wayne · 5 months ago
I doubt Google's Chrome OS will be able to do a tenth of what I do on my Windows PC. My computer is more than just browsing the web and checking email. Its a business tool and there isn't an online business suite that compares to Open Office or Microsoft Office in the world today. Its a gaming platform, again no completely online game matches the games shipped on DVDs today with their HD quality graphics and fast response times. So I'll be able to handle some development and communications but that is really a small portion of what a computer is used for. Even Chrome doesn't satisfy my needs in a browser. The only application that Google makes and is feature rich enough for my personal tastes is Google Maps. The rest simply don't have much of anything.

If Microsoft was going to be dethroned as king, than it would have happened with Linux. Its been on the market for years and doesn't cost a dime. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the developer backing either. So Google's Chrome OS might do well in some circles and will help with some of your basic online living but its not a replacement for the desktop or even a full-featured laptop.
  • akila87 · 5 months ago
I think Chrome will be free because if not it wont can't give a good competition to windows. How ever its good to have the competition as along as it benefits the customer and in the other hand I think this OS will be much more web related one, I means the OS s that we use were developed keeping in mind that PC are stand alone things so it has to be changed i think Chrome will change it.

    Hi Ben,
Interesting point to note - Google says "Google Chrome OS will initially be targeted at netbooks".Trend research agency Trendsspotting recently provide evidences of "declining Android hype" & highlighted that android (read Goggles linux OS) will any become productive via netbook growth.

So the question is - isn't Chrome OS project much of relaunching 'Andorid' in that case?

Come on down from the clouds, people. Windows will not be replaced in any significant numbers for the same reason Mac OSX was unable to do it.
    1. 2 words: Corporate America.
    2. HUGE base of installed systems AND TRAINED SUPPORT STAFF. (it doesn't matter if the OS is crap as long as there is support, and I mean BUSINESS SUPPORT in house.)
    3. Schools use Windows.
Any arguments to the above realities are just wishful thinking.
  • Sam Guzman · 5 months ago
Come now...I love how every time Google launches a new product, everyone starts announcing Microsoft's doom. Honestly folks, it's pretty obvious that Google's proposed OS is designed specifically for netbooks. While it might easily become the dominant netbook OS (there really is no good one right now), I can't imagine it killing Windows 7, an extremely powerful OS. Saying that it might is like saying that a newly announced budget car will kill off Bentley.

I imagine the Chrome OS will be something very similar to Presto, the instant on web OS. I have Presto on my netbook, and while it is great for surfing the net, it's worthless for just about everything else. What you guys are completely ignoring in your Google fan-boyism is the fact that there are different OSs for different purposes. Not everyone is going to want a glorified web browser as their operating system. As a web designer, I certainly wouldn't. My suggestion is take a deep breath and curb your enthusiasm. Microsoft isn't going anywhere, and to suggest otherwise is not only a completely irrational leap of logic, it's ignoring the facts.

In the US and other major IT Countries, the luxury of broadband speed is found in most households. Speeding up internet browsing will probably have a slight impact with most users. For those countries that offer less bandwidth, Google Chrome OS will benefit their community. Now that 3rd world countries are coming online, I can forecast that any system that provides extra speed, especially when there is limited bandwidth, will dominate the consumers' need. I am currently visiting India and I am very aware that India's Broadband infrastructure needs help. With one of the largest population in the world, I can assume that India will jump on any resource that can help users get online faster and browse efficiently.
  • Greg Bohrn · 5 months ago
I would definitely agree with you there. I'm not sure how a Google OS on top of Linux will speed things up. Now the price point is definitely a differential. If the OS is free (even with ads), they may work in developing countries (though the bandwidth consumed by ads may make this harder).

MS Windows is expensive (heavily do to the extreme levels of piracy that occurs worldwide, even in the US at least 20% of MS products are pirated, whereas in SE Asia 98% are <stats based on a piracy chart hanging in one of the MS buildings the last time I was there for a conference>)

A concern for developing countries with limited bandwidth would be, why would they want an OS that is heavily dependent on the Internet if the bandwidth is sketchy. Now, if the OS delivers native apps on the desktop using web technology (but not requiring a connection), that would definitely be useful and competitive. Problem is you have a large, entrenched populace, who can barely use a computer anyway who are use to Windows. Why would they change??? I work with everything, and will use this to bolster skills, but the average user is not going to change unless there is a really compelling issue to

By the way, Windows is expensive to buy off the shelf. Its sold to other companies and computer OEMS quite cheaply.

We are millions, tens of millions to literally hate Microsh*t. As someone posted in the Globe&Mail, MS has become like the Big Three automakers, selling garbage at unconscionable prices. Google came with a great business model, and is winning hands down. We are hundreds of millions to use Google - to the point that "to google" has become a verb - and all the other Google products, gmail, Earth, GoogleTalk, etc. etc. I for one have been clamoring for a google OS for quite some time. And unlike MS, Google listens. As soon as it becomes available I will migrate away from MS XP and from the Vista I got stuck with in my laptop, while I hope that Microsh*it goes bankrupt and get ready to fight any government wanting to bail them out.

Unfortunately, I think the smaller players like Ubuntu will get eaten first before Microsoft ever comes into play. I use Google Chrome browser and it's not Microsoft IE that's getting eaten up, it's Opera, Safari and even Mozilla Firefox that's being chipped away at.
  • Greg Bohrn · 5 months ago
Interesting thought. As a software architect who does a lot of native client work, interfacing with hardware, etc. I don't see Google killing anything. It won't make a dent in the gamer market as the best graphics drivers are written for Windows first and I don't see that changing (and yeas the PC gaming world is not dead). The web folks tend to forget that the bulk majority of software written out there does not utilize web work (though more of it could and probably should).

I do think that launching a web OS on top of Linux may be interesting. I like the Chrome Browser more than Firefox or IE as it is faster. For folks who just want to surf the web, check their email, modify Google docs, etc. This might be a lower cost alternative. For the power users, corporate user, road warriors, avid gamers, etc., I don't see it.

It definitely would be nice to gut Windows and remove all of the extras that folks may not need or use and have easier way to remove the crud that builds up over time (without buying software or going through a ton of dialog boxes to tuneup your system).

Anyway, I hope they are moderately successful though. Give me another viable platform to develop on (currently develop on Windows, Linux and Mac already as well as various phone platforms, etc.)

While Google won't kill microsoft, i am sure it will break some windows, there's a lot to question about the OS, but for sure i'll give it a try!

That Google would go after this new business surprises only those that don't understand Google. Industrial-era thinkers believe you should "stick to your focus". Like GM. But Google knows that in an information economy if you don't keep moving into new markets with new technologies looking for more revenues you won't survive. It's a shame if it only aimed at netbooks as windows does need some proper competition. A love the look & feel of linux but I do feel another company should develop one. Who remembers BEos? And how Microsoft "took" it out of the race?

Apple has been trying to challenge Microsoft on OS, but hasn't made significant headway because its MacOS is tied to its hardware for the most part. yes, there are ports of MacOS to PCs, but it is not a mainstream product. Apple wants to stay in the hardware business so it must defeat these ports to non-Apple computers and laptops.

In Chrome OS, the applications run in a browser. Every operating system has web browsers available. Developers who develop for Chrome OS will be developing software that also works on Windows and Mac (and Linux). This kills several birds with one stone. Cost effectiveness: near universal market if developing a web app compatible with Chrome OS; Recognition: People who get used to web apps on Windows will be right at home using them on Chrome OS; Breadth: As more and more apps are move to the web, all these capabilities are immediately gained by Chrome OS; Simplicity: Pretty much everyone knows how to use a web browser; Compatibility: all files on any OS can easily be passed around and collaborated on because, again, the OS isn't the platform,

The only people excited about cloud computing seem to be IT writers who cherish the idea of accessing their data from any computer. But they can do that already. This cloud computing just makes no sense. But then again, when did sense have any place in the IT world?

Though I have installed chrome browser, I haven't tried to use it. I am 100% comfortable with Firefox. I may put google chrome as a virtual pc just for browsing.

Like firefox on browser, for me, ubuntu is very much preferable than any windows or mac or linux desktop.

If it is web based os, it will be perfectly suited for cybercafe business. lets see how it works in long time.

Not all the products launched by google are successful. But I love google's speed and simplicity. They think different way.

If windows 7 sucks more like vista, yes, either ubuntu or google chrome shall get big boost.

Suggestion: Why not run a poll here to see how many people would try Google OS if it was free? I know I would.

The question is this...well if you have a hardcore gamer like me...because I love to play a lot of Massive Multiplayer Online Games (MMORPG), Do any of you guys think that the Google OS will be able to run what Windows can run? For an Ex: If I wanted to play a Korean MMORPG...and not Just World of War Craft, would I need to download applications such as wine.exe, etc. just like linux? Someone please give me valid information.

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs have talked about Web-centric OSes like Google Chrome OS before.

You can find the full transcript of an early 2007 interview in http://d5.allthingsd.com/20070531/d5-gates-jobs... and you can find a video of it in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5Z7eal4uXI

I’ve also posted only the part of this interview related to cloud computing here: http://my.opera.com/facildelembrar/blog/bill-ga...

I dont think that the chrome os will kill windows because alot of people dont just use a browser, they use their os for things like business, gaming, etc. even though google's os will enable you to do most of that stuff online, i think that alot of people are going to be paranoid about saving their personal data online. So chrome os will be used mainly by the people who trust the internet, and others who still feel nervous about their personal data will use os's like windows, macintosh, and linux.

I think Google can take out Microsoft. Since Everyone used Google, Google can easily advertise Chrome OS and get everyone to use it. The only thing Microsoft will be used for is gaming but I bet Google can make a Chrome OS a gaming OS and get rid of Windows forever!

I don't know about the OS...but I love google chrome web browser! It is tons better on a windows computer than explorer, safari and firefox! It is my main browser now...if Google's OS is as great as the browser they developed, than I'll make the switch to google os over windows...as long as it is stable and it runs microsoft word.

But than again that's only for my windows computers...I wouldn't switch to Google OS over OS X Snow Leopard...Mac's are my computers of choice. But I think Google OS will be fantastic on a netbook! And if they (google) develops a stable OS that is fast and efficient and can run Office, third party apps and is device friendly, than I think it will take down Windows no sweat.

For the love of god, and all that is holy. Stop even posting the title as "Will chrome OS be a windows-killer" or anything to that effect. The fact is that Windows has an outstanding majority and will not be killed in the near future. Also the chrome OS is a net-based Operating System which will be available on netbooks, not desktops from any anouncement google has made.sutr you could install it but why would you, it's only purpose is user-experience and to access the web, why would you go from a multi-compatible OS such as windows or Mac OS*.

There are a lot of existing virtual desktops or webtops http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_desktop that looks better then this screenshots. For example check this one http://www.windows4all.com

the truth is windows has not much changed after windows 98, they are pushing it and since there is not competitor so they are winning. There was so much promised for vista but what we got is just change of main interface ( actually they just changed the exploere.exe lol) anyway I hope google will play intelligently and we are waiting. PLus microsoft always steals the ideas. Give you two examples, google introduced desktop search, some third parties introduced other desktop widgets and microsoft introduced all that in vista. The thing is that microsoft been doing this for years. Bill gates is not a very computer smart person but he is business evil for sure so he ruled all these years. Time will tell what happens next but the scary part people don't know much and all they know is microsoft is very smart. Look at xbox, ps3 is better system but xbox won over why you think. Another example IE is a corporate standard, nobody can use anyother browser in corporations. How this happened because microsoft added in to windows. IE was not develeped but micorsoft. See how smart micosoft is to monopolize the market. At the end you do think if we live in non competitive enronment we can get good products. A point for you to think.

    At inaminam:
Why is it that you claim that they stole the idea, according to your presumption that the idea was stolen we can assume that you also think that Google Search is a stolen idea, the reason I say this is because there were internet spiders before Google.
Quote: A point for you to think.
