I like to play with Kaneva (www.kaneva.com) and soon with GEM Island (weplay.gemisland.com) and Next Island (www.nextisland.com)

Shame to see Playfire (www.playfire.com) off the list - which offers full, automatic integration for both of the big consoles.

So, what social network would be best for connecting with game developers?
  • Crazy Ted · 3 months ago
Ummm garage games? Or that other social site they came out with...can't seem to recall its name, though...

Reddit has a section for game devs that is starting to be more active too.../shrug

Thanks for your overview of Raptr! Don't forget about our other features: Multi-network IM (AIM, MSN, Xfire, etc) and real-time tracking of gameplay/achievements. We encourage you to give us a try and let us know what you think!

multi-network IM - but it doesn't work in-game. what's the point? someone said it was like xfire - but it isn't. No in-game support. Trillian already exists - nothing special about raptr's IM.

I'm very supriaed to see that Steam isn't on the list, as it has a huge amount of users.

Thanks for including UGame.net on this list. We have been working hard on our platform to cater for the eSport scene. We will be opening the platform out more comprehensively to consoles in the next couple of months.

Great timing with this article - looking for ways to reach gammers. We are giving away Madden NFL 10 and Xbox 360. http://tinyurl.com/lsu9z3

Playfire needs some better PR as the site isn't actually all that bad.

Out of all of those I've got accounts on Raptr and GamerDNA and have to say that I most definitely prefer GamerDNA and not just because it's merged with 360Voice.com.
