I knew that the demand was going to make downloading it difficult; however, the album will be free for download for the rest of the year, so need to give up on it. Just try again tomorrow.

I downloaded it just fine and I was at a Starbucks using their wifi. I think probably when the news broke there was a rush, but I had no problems. I downloaded it maybe 90 or so minutes ago.

Yeah, like RKW said, the servers must have been overly hit when the news first broke, but it's fine now (for me at least) because I was able to download it under four minutes.

Not sure why people are not simply trying the file shares. They usually work well in this situation. (Not sure why those wanting to give content away don't simply use this method in the first place.)
I had no problem downloading it. They should have also displayed a bittorrent link, but maybe that would have given the wrong message from Coldplay about bittorrent. I would have saved them a lot of money I think, in servers and bandwidth.

Downloaded fine and uploaded to Itunes just as easily. Thanks to Coldplay and everyone else that made this possible! And thank you for the heads up on the possible issues. Hope the issues are a thing of the past.
