I think that there is no winner. On myspace you can customize your profile and use different codes. On facebook it is more simple and organized. Myspace is mostly for teenagers or high school kids. Facebook is more for adults and stuff. Both sites are designed for communicating with your friends and family.They both do a pretty good job doing that. But both sites are different by the apps, costumization, and the people who are on it. Both myspace and facebook are generally the same.

Haha, thats funny. The way I see it ... myspace is for high school kids, hoping to get to college (or not), facebook for smarter high schoolers, perhaps for college freshies w/ too much time on their hands, post college/higher education where time matters, go w/ cestagi :)

I like myspace better than facebook. I don't know why they would judge either one of them they are both good. but I spend alot more time on myspace and so do most of my friends that i have on both facebook and myspace.

Facebook sucks! I'm a programmer and i love myspace. I DONT WANT TO LOOK LIKE THE THE NEXT MAN AND I DONT WANT THE NEXT MAN TO LOOK LIKE ME. Everything looks the same on facebook. Educated or not we are all humans on this dam! planet earth acting stupid and fighting wars everyday.

Myspace forever. I just like that i can design and code my page. I have a facebook page but i never go there because its not user friendly and all the pages look the same. I guess thats why they call it facebook. No freedom book.
From my point of view i think Facebook is way behind.

Then again, wouldn't the enjoyment more or less come from which website rewards you with more activities, socially speaking.

If you get more responses, comments, etc from Myspace obviously you would choose Myspace over Facebook anyday, the same can be said for Facebook if you received more activity from that.

Alot of people don't care about the profile appearance, that's a subjective matter. And a lot of people do not have the skills for Myspace in terms of HTML coding unfortunately so Myspace at times is not as user-friendly. I prefer Myspace anyday but unfortunately my majority of social-networking peers focus on Facebook, naturally I would also follow suit.

No offense but this review is extremely biased.

The privacy function on both sites varies quite alot, unfortunately I think Facebook loses in this case. In the example of my friend, she was unfortunate enough to be tagged in a photo that was followed with quite a nasty comment afterwards, because of how Facebook sends an e-mail about everything that goes on, it was certainly an unpleasant event. That and the fact that you can read your friends conversations so openly is another worrying factor.

Myspace I believe needs more guidance, and interactivity to become more interesting. I'm personally more of a fan of Myspace because of it's ability to be more of a creative input but there is no denying the wave of Facebook users loving the clean layout, I myself am a user of both. If I could I'd get everyone back onto Myspace simply for the more unique output it has.

I just think this review was extremely biased and subjective, there is no point reviewing something and using one's opinions as the facts. At least provide a more thorough understanding of why one wins over the other instead of saying, 'it looks better'.

Regardless, an interesting read altogether

Myspace is clearly more enjoyable because you can set up the kind profile design u want, as for facebook what can u do but look at the same old boring look day in and day out and yes some pros on myspace can look freakish but at least they can make it suited to thier own personalities and not be borged and forced to join the collective of same tired profile appearance as the rest on that site!! lol

MySpace has come a long way since this post. Most of the things that Facebook had over them at this point have been eliminated. Anyhoo, this is really slanted toward Facebook in the first place because on most of the ones where MySpace should have won (PROFILE) you just gave them a tie so Facebook would keep the lead.

Well I love using Facebook more than Myspace because I can easily connect with old friends or classmates for the whole site is organized by schools and right now by locations also. If they have an account on Facebook, whether or not i forgot there names, I can still locate them easily.

ummm. i think this article is waaayyy too biased. but in defense, myspace came first. facebook is just a copy. Toms a genius and a bajillionaire. i doubt anyone even knows the name of the facebook creator. also, twice i have attempted to sign up for facebook just to see what all of the hooplah was about. both times it got way too confusing and i just said eff that i quit.

Facebook is boring! If I really wanted to play electronic snakes and ladders with people I went to school with 15 years ago then maybe Facebook might appeal. But as a musician and music lover who enjoys expressing myself and finding out about other people's creativity, MySpace is by far and away the winner. Every time I look at Facebook it makes me feel about 1000 years old. It's too square! MySpace is funky and colourful with all sorts of different music that I wouldn't have ever heard of. Facebook seems really stuffy and cliquey. I love it when a band I've never heard of adds me as a friend (www.myspace.com/peakcity if you want to add me lol), I always check out their page and sometimes just might find myself buying their music. So a thousand votes for Myspace.

I dunno, Facebook has the gay applications, the news blog etc. Most celebrities I follow have myspaces. If you want to promote music or network Myspace is good. If you just want to connect with old friends then use Facebook. I don't really get why people think Myspace is more hard to navigate, those are the people who claim more intelligent people use facebook. I don't care to stay in touch with the people from school so Myspace is better for me to meet new people.
