Using a secret address means users can send photos from unregistered devices and e-mail accounts.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; This system is less secure, but probably more poplar with users. (Who wants to bother with preregistering every phone and email account they might use? What if if you wan to send a photo from a friend's phone?) Flickr, YouTube, and a bunch of other photo/video-sharing sites use basically the same secret-address system.
