She clicked submit, it is that simple. Maybe she did it intentionally even, it wouldn't be the first time a spouse sabotaged their partner.

I find it remarkable that someone who knows the risks of being a high profile target that a UN Ambassador or MI6 Spy Master present would mistakenly provide others with her information. She has almost certainly been advised numerous occasions on keeping a low profile and keeping everyone on a need to know basis.

But then maybe I am just more grumpy because China is blocking half the Internet again. Now Google, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and others are blocked.

Re: Facebook Farce: Top British Spy Exposed on Facebook

try http://multiply.com - sure they may not have apps like FB but at least they have better privacy options than Facebook.

Re: Facebook Farce: Top British Spy Exposed on Facebook

The lack of common sense never fails to amaze. Twitter does one thing and one thing only, FB does more. If I want FB to be 'more like twitter" I'll use twitter.

Please, someone come up with a better social networking site so we can ditch Facebook. PLEASE!

Re: Facebook Farce: Top British Spy Exposed on Facebook

I agree with the others here-- part of the problem is facebook is trying to be like twitter. People have signed up to facebook under the misleading impression that things are private to all but their friends. While she should have been more careful, I agree... essentially let facebook stay as facebook and let twitter get on with being twitter. I have never seen Facebook and Twitter as in competition. They are different and I enjoy using them both in different ways.

Re: Facebook Farce: Top British Spy Exposed on Facebook

I don't know why people RT Mashable anyways. It's a 'company' type Twitter profile which means that most anyone who wants to follow it already is. I remember reading an article somewhere that said RTing Mashable, TC, and stuff like that is a good way to annoy your friends and I'd agree. Imagine if you follow Mashable and your dumbass friends RTs it every single time? Fail right?

Re: Facebook Farce: Top British Spy Exposed on Facebook

Priceless.

Re: Facebook Farce: Top British Spy Exposed on Facebook

for crying out loud mashable! your articles are great, but it''s become almost impossible to read comments with the every increasing amount of retweets displayed.

Re: Facebook Farce: Top British Spy Exposed on Facebook

Permissions really shouldn't be neccisary. Things like this shouldn't happen. I really don't want people from anywhere seeing EVERYTHING I post on facebook... not even people in the Milwaukee network. So screw you facebook, keep it the way it is. Facebook should not be like twitter, as twitter is completely and totally different AND SHOULD STAY THAT WAY! Give us back the FACEBOOK homepage, and get rid of the twitter one. FACEBOOK is FACEBOOK. not twitter. I love facebook, but if it becomes twitter with a few more features, it won't be worth it to me anymore.

Any why would you put a picture of your husband in a speedo online anyways? sigh...

Re: Facebook Farce: Top British Spy Exposed on Facebook

Pete, your http://beacon.scorecardrese... loading is stopping us(firefox) from viewing your post pls. fix it.

thank you
http://hugepre-launch.info
