As long as it is free and helps me connect with my friends and family back home I will continue to use facebook. When you work and live in a different country you realize and thank facebook. I have customised settings on my facebook that works well for me.

Did anyone else think that Zuckerberg seems more robotic than Data from Next Generation? I think that he had been coached on his approach to answering questions compared with his previous interviews. He is obviously autistic (or at least on the spectrum). He can parrot talking points, but cannot understand nuance. That's why he only responds to questions. Just listen to the lilt in his voice and how it is consistent with every answer. He was probably told to begin that way to sound less terse. He has to "sell" facebook before it goes public. The stories of Facebook's creation, and interviews have probably done nothing to help his credibility.

i don't mean a social network per say... but something which pushes the boundaries further... like what facebook did with web 2.0

Google was at one point looking quite invincible.... but facebook came along and took a huge chuck of internet traffic away (specially advertising)..... there will be other things that will keep the new generation busy....

Did you see his big gulp right when the lawsuit was mentioned? He also stuttered hard when he had to make a clear comment on the issue. As a web designer, if I'm not making any money on a site development and I'm developing and coding the css and html, then I'm damn sure signed into a contract with the company to cover my involvement. I think he's in some pretty hot water and won't be surprised when the piece of paper or e-mails surface to prove the guys case.

I watched the entire story and was disappointed. What happened to fair and balanced reporting? It seemed that Diane Sawyer was trying to grill Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. What DID she expect Mark to say? Yes, he's the CEO but he's a 26 year old techno geek more interested in the next new app than in corporate politics. Facebook's business dealings are left to their attorneys and MBAs who are all older and have more business experience than Mark.

I would have liked to see Diane report more on what its like to work for Facebook. The salaries are competitive for the Silicon Valley and the benefits are unmatched...flex time work schedule, unlimited sick days, 21 paid vacation days, 11 paid holidays, fully company paid medical, dental, vision, life, and disability for employees, 50% reimbursement on gym memberships, free breakfast, lunch, and dinner, free laundry service, public transportation reimbursements, reimbursements of $3000/year per child in day care, and 4 MONTHS paid parental leave after the birth or adoption of a child as well as a $4000 baby cash gift from Facebook. So if Facebook can offer employees these benefits, why the heck can't other employers?

All I could think about during those clips was "why won't he blink?" Looking forward to the full interview. Not sure we're learn much from it, but I think it's a good move nevertheless. Next question: will Zuck be a guest of honor at the premiere for "The Social Network"? Automatic VIP status?
