    still no Tampa, Florida? meh
  • jaucremann · 1 month ago
I agree, you'd think they would have made the list by now.
  • Trey Copeland · 1 month ago
    Still no Nashville?
  • Stephen Robinson · 1 month ago
I wish more UK cities would come.

I'd bet South Africa will not get this for a long time.

BTW: The link at the end has a typo in the url. (The one linking to the city request page)

I don't know. The World Cup is in South Africa next June. FourSquare might launch South Africa before the World Cup begins.
  • NielDLR · 1 month ago
That's true! Completely forgot about that. A good incentive to launch it in South Africa, please Foursquare!
  • jaucremann · 1 month ago
I was TOTALLY just going to say that, but I was registering first, so you beat me to it! Definitely think the World Cup is a great time to launch it. I mean, they wired the whole of Sea Point with limited free wi fi right?

Last link in the post is wrong--is going to foursqre instead of foursquare.
  • signaltheorist · 1 month ago
Your request link is broken. Spelled it foursqure.com instead of foursquare.com
  • Michel Savoie · 1 month ago
Very excited that this is finally available in Toronto! Great online community out here!
  • Brandon Morgado · 1 month ago
    Still no Birmingham, AL :(
  • Katja Halverson · 1 month ago
The link to request a city should go to: http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&f...

Sorry, its not a friendly URL.

Any chances foursquare goes to Brazil ? Sao Paulo or Rio ?
  • Vitor Pose Martinez · 2 days ago
it is working for sao paulo...

I'm currently using foursquare! and Gowalla but other than the early adopter crowd I follow none of my friends have warmed to location based social networks yet!
  • Mike Lapidakis · 1 month ago
I feel your pain. I've been using both with no "real" friends on either. I don't think my friends listen to my social web site recommendations anymore, since I ask them to join one every week or so. Wish I had more "techie" friends.

No more UK places added? That's sad...

I started testing Fousquare in Raleigh-Durham the other day, excited about having it in NC, to bad I had to leave for BlogWorld in Vegas.

    Go Richmond!

What no Vancouver? Oh that's right we're only hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics - no big deal.
  • jenn lowther · 1 month ago
Foursquare launched in Vancouver several weeks ago
  • Flavio · 1 month ago
Too bad that all these services are still very US-focused! Let's not forget that the Internet is Global, and there's much more than North America!

Just launched in London last week but it has a lot of bugs.
  • PRBristol.co.uk · 1 month ago
This is pants. Why are they following a Craig's list model when clearly anyone from the rest of the world can't join their own city?
  • Kanon · 1 month ago
I am very glad to know it. I hope launch more Chinese cities.
