But I agree with you, I want a real keyboard.

Re: Dual-Screen Laptops: Three Other Models You Forgot About

The two with a screen as a keyboard may work if you plug in a real keyboard, and use the bottom screen as a screen instead of as a virtual keyboard. It also would work nicely if you have apps that can handle touch screen technology well. I wouldn't want to lose the keyboard though. I don't really like typing on a screen. Even my G1 phone has a full QWERTY keyboard, and I like it that way. Much better than typing on the screen like you have to do with the iPhone.

Re: Dual-Screen Laptops: Three Other Models You Forgot About

Lenovo ThinkPad for me without a shadow of a doubt! I would love to have a dual screen so I can have various projects on the go at once :)

Re: Dual-Screen Laptops: Three Other Models You Forgot About

Asus would be my choice if I had to get one. The others are too bulky. I'm thinking of a mylar type/paper thin--collapsable or roll-up screen. I thought Dell came out with a portable screen like this last year. ?. Perhaps it was just a concept. I'd rather see something like that---light weight, compact and also curved--for privacy. It's just the SCREEN that's needed--not the hard shell casing.More concepts needed

Re: Dual-Screen Laptops: Three Other Models You Forgot About

That first one is pretty action-packed, with the screen sliding out from behind the regular screen. That's one of those items that you can take around and amaze people with one-by-one. Then, you could actually use it effectively as well, to place extra windows on the second screen like an actual dual-monitor setup.

Re: Dual-Screen Laptops: Three Other Models You Forgot About

Wow sounds pretty cool, I'm up for trying any new technology so I welcome anything new to the market.

Re: Dual-Screen Laptops: Three Other Models You Forgot About

The Asus comes across as the most inefficient model. Ladies have nails; the battle of the screen or the nails? Both will suffer.

Re: Dual-Screen Laptops: Three Other Models You Forgot About

I Think Lenovo much better but I don't know how much the price? if I aready know I'll Post it to my blog in http://blog.joomblaster.com

Re: Dual-Screen Laptops: Three Other Models You Forgot About

maybe keyboards will become less 'fundamental' with the touchscreens
i love the estari (bit chunky but still cool), but yeah, typing would be a bit strange.

Re: Dual-Screen Laptops: Three Other Models You Forgot About

also don't forget about the concept for the XO-2
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/XO-2
