maybe keyboards will become less 'fundamental' with the touchscreens
i love the estari (bit chunky but still cool), but yeah, typing would be a bit strange.

I would not change my Mac for any of these models, they look bulky and heavy, Asus seems appealing but once the keyboard is damaged, there is not much you can do. Ladies have nails; the battle of the screen or the nails? Both will suffer.

The second laptop looks like it will just transform, or is it a transformer :) ? Be social!

I'd like to see system builders mash Kindle's screen and a laptop screen, not 2 laptop screens.

I'd never go for one with a screen as the bottom for typing, I wouldn't be able to type fast like I can on something where you can't feel the buttons.

The Asus comes across as the most inefficient model. It will probably never be made.

I thought the point of having two screens was to be able to view more content. If you just replace your keyboard with a screen of a keyboard, you likely have just drained the battery quicker and shortened the life of the "keyboard."

It probably has the capability of plugging in a real keyboard like most laptops. But I agree with you, I want a real keyboard.

Wow sounds pretty cool, I'm up for trying any new technology so I welcome anything new to the market.

That first one is pretty action-packed, with the screen sliding out from behind the regular screen. That's one of those items that you can take around and amaze people with one-by-one. Then, you could actually use it effectively as well, to place extra windows on the second screen like an actual dual-monitor setup.

Asus would be my choice if I had to get one. The others are too bulky. I'm thinking of a mylar type/paper thin--collapsable or roll-up screen. I thought Dell came out with a portable screen like this last year. ?. Perhaps it was just a concept. I'd rather see something like that---light weight, compact and also curved--for privacy. It's just the SCREEN that's needed--not the hard shell casing.More concepts needed

Lenovo ThinkPad for me without a shadow of a doubt! I would love to have a dual screen so I can have various projects on the go at once :)

The two with a screen as a keyboard may work if you plug in a real keyboard, and use the bottom screen as a screen instead of as a virtual keyboard. It also would work nicely if you have apps that can handle touch screen technology well. I wouldn't want to lose the keyboard though. I don't really like typing on a screen. Even my G1 phone has a full QWERTY keyboard, and I like it that way. Much better than typing on the screen like you have to do with the iPhone.
