We really appreciate it! We're working on some new features to be released soon that will give artists even better insight into their buzz.

- Andrew, thanks for compliment! We're going to be adding in some new sites to analyze soon.

- Tom, thats a good point! Its hard to balance the business side and the art side of music. Theres a lot of options out there and hopefully RockDex was worth your time. I hope we can bring you some more useful tools in the future!

- Jackie, I hope your artists find it useful too!

- Sean, we've had that mentioned to us by a couple of people but RockDex was built without ever seeing or knowing much beyond press releases about BandMetrics. We haven't heard of anyone getting into their beta since they announced it last September.

If anyone wants to know more feel free to e-mail me at jimmy@musicarsenal.com.

Re: Does Your Favorite Band Rock the Social Web?

looks similar to Band Metrics. anyone tried Band Metrics?

Re: Does Your Favorite Band Rock the Social Web?

I'm off to check this out right now. Trying to keep up with all the new possibilities on the web are both overwhelming and exciting. I've been challenged recently to keep up with new services like this but also remembering to keep up with actually being a musician and songwriter, both aspects of being in a small band require a lot of time. Still, it's pretty cool how the playing field has been leveled for all the DIY bands or small business out there.

Re: Does Your Favorite Band Rock the Social Web?

Spectacular post!
