To be honest, I'm a active digger, but I couldn't care less if they released an Iphone app or not.

Digg used to be the place to go 2 years ago. Now it's useless.

Amen. What little tech content on the site still proves to be rather useful at times though... But the constant barrage of lame images, comics, anti-religion, anti-conservative, and top X lists gets boring really fast.

I'll definitely be using the Digg application. I am a big fan of Digg and I like the idea of having it with me at all times.

This was already confirmed back on August 13th at the last Digg Townhall. You can see them talk about it at the 14:00 mark here: http://digg.com/townhall

As long as it has more functionality than just an iPhone-optimized version of Digg.com, I'm all for it!

That is great news. The web interface is pretty terrible and the current batch of iPhone apps have limited features. I use Diggle for the iPhone and it is good for reading and sharing articles via email or Twitter, but it doesn't allow you to digg or comment.

Great work! Hopefully their will open up some developer APIs to allow third parties to remotely digg stories too...

At #FOWA Kevin Rose was sitting in front of me and a friend, showing someone the new Digg and new Digg iPhone application. They look very cool, and have some things that will blow you away. I don't really want to give details, I'm sure they wouldn't be too happy. :(

This was featured in a Digg Townhall in August. Why is this even news?
