140 characters is a medium that is moving people to action and inspiring change. It is the new news. It is a space where people connect and share. Relationships are key to making this happen. Now, I'd love to connect to people I follow in the real world. It will go a long way to building relationships. Plus it looks fun. =)

My TweetLater account has 6 different Twitter identities. My Seesmic desktop staggers under 14 columns of content. I can't watch a movie or sporting event without Twittering a play-by-play. FourSquare is documenting my exploration of my new city, Seattle. I Twitter for two clients so prolifically that I had to hire a (volunteer) community manager to handle my own Tweets. I believe in citizen journalism, the value of a quick TwitPic and that Twittering a conference brings value to the event.

Love the blend of offline & online...connecting with my online friends at live events and then staying in touch & collaborating with people I meet at events. Want to learn more as I'm using social media strategies with and for clients. Look forward to meeting lots of new people at the conference. I live in Los Angeles so I don't require anything other than the tickets to go. My business uses numerous social media tools to help raise money for different causes. It would be advantageous and of great benefit for me to attend the conference to network and learn how to make more effective use of the tools and resources that Twitter provides.

hello! met some twitter employees 2.5 years ago. i thought the idea was weak. didn't get it. i was wrong. now that i 'get it' and use twitter religiously to get all my info, it'd be a shame if this once doubtful believer doesn't get to understand the fullness of what twitter can do. i would love to go but i'm an unfunded entrepreneur trying to make an impact in the digital space. would love to attend!
