I'm sure the folks worrying about the bottlenecks on the servers are not the front page designers.

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

did not know there was uptime issues.

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

YEAH!!! Finally! If you don't know what you get out of Twitter and you got to the home page, you would have NO IDEA what on earth your about to take on. LOL. I think they are losing out by not changing it.

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

excellent news!

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

+1

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

Thank GOD. I managed to explain to a friend in only 2000 words how you reply - http://rhodester.net/the-po... - and the rest of the basics in only another 4000 words or so. Awfully complicated service for something that only lets you post in 140 characters or less.

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

Adam - I appreciate your post. I am glad to see that Twitter is going to invest some resources improving their home page. If I had to rely on the present site (I use Tweet Deck) I wouldn't be there very often because it is impossible to follow the people you are most interested in following.

There are a couple of management programs I recommend Tweet Deck and Seesmic - it will be interesting to see if Twitter can top the usefulness of these applications. Thank you for the info!

James
http://twitter.com/askjames...

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

Any chance of adding a few folders to the favorites folder? that way I'd be able to sort all my favorites.

PS I am behind in reading them

thank you

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

I don't think Twitter is anywhere near as useful for (trad) business as it is for arts orgs and creative agencies, who don't just require people, but make things *about* people. (the difference between the monologue of business and the dialogue of arts). I wrote a Twitter for Arts Orgs doc which has been taken up by Arts Council England... http://www.getambition.com/...

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

I wish they would concentrate more on their uptime than on the look of their homepage.

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

finally we can see a new twitty :)

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

It seems that twitter guys have received many tweets asking for a homepage.great idea ,this would make twitter more and more popular in the coming days.Let's make it a severe viral so that no one remains untouched from twitter.

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

That's great news! I was one of those people who checked it out over a year ago and got turned off thinking it was a waste of time based on the home page. I was led to it again a couple of months ago, signed on for whatever reason, and then I got it! When I tell someone about it (which I do because I now love it!), it's almost embarrassing when they then go and check out the home page. I'm glad this is being addressed! Yeah Twitter!

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

ignor this one...i wasnt paying attetion lol

Re: Coming Soon: A New Twitter Homepage

Actually, I was one of the people that received a invite to Knoyce before it launches and I was skeptical about it too.
