This chillingly reminds me of Oliver Stone's "Natural Born Killers" -- the more crimes he commits, the more the media feeds into the frenzy and creates the anti-hero's legacy. Let's see if Colton's still a folk hero after he takes someone's life.

this kid has to have some help from a loyal friend.Maybe even has as much as 2 cell phones he could use...remember this guy stoled alot of money and high tech devices..He may end up trying to make it to Canada and change his identity..He's a pretty smart dude...I just hope he doesn't have to kill anybody or get killed himself in the process of escaping police at some point. I wish him luck on his journey that I think he doesn't know where it will lead him. God bless Calton harris Moore.

I knew colton harris-moore, he was in my grade, and I can tell you, this is nothing like the true story in the film "catch me if you can." Colton is not exploiting and system or finding loopholes in anything, he is just running around from cops. To say that he is as intelligent as Frank Abagnale is just not true.

I don't want to say bad things about anyone but does anyone realise that if he shoots at the police and such that they can and will shoot back. Then he is either dead or worse maybe paralysed. Or if he crashes one of those planes on a house or crashes into an airliner or something and kills a bunch of people then what. I know we all need some one to go againstthe system right now but this isn't funny it is really, really serious. His life is never going to be the same if someone doen t help him. This is not going to end well people.

To say that most cops are sadistic idiots is ridiculous and unfair. You should be thankful that there are people who are willing to put their lives on the line for the rest of us every single day, in most cases making less money than many of the people that they are protecting who have nice safe jobs.
I am still trying to understand how this kid became anything more than a criminal on the run that should be caught. Stealing is illegal, destroying other people's property is not only illegal but immoral. What gives him the right to steal things from others and destroy them.
Last, he has fired a gun at the police. Are you kidding me, he's lucky he's not dead. What if he had hit one of the cops and killed him. What if that cop had a family, a wife, kids, etc. All now alone because this punk kid is out for a job ride and some ridiculous notion that he's a modern day Jesse James? He'l get caught or killed and deserves whatever punishment he receives.

It is out in the woods during hunting season don't think this kid is that dumb to be by himself with a bunch of cops after him to be firing shots. The police is using this so they can shoot him if sighted because there to dumb to catch him!

There is no proof that Colt shot at anybody. The deputies could not find him in Granite Falls. Somebody reported hearing a shot. Big difference.

It ticks me off about how the sherrif's department releases info such as "they believe shots may have been fired"...let's get the facts straight rather trying to drum up media support. This guy is balsy to say the least, learning to fly from a video is incredible to say the least. My first solo came after 12 hours of intensive instruction from a seasoned war vet, and I was still sweaty nervous, but only slightly confident. The 3 hard landings probably shook this guy's confidence, but he has tenacity and doesn't give up. Gotta respect his drive to say the least. No wonder his following is growing!!!

I used to work with this kid at the "half-way house" he escaped from. He's a hell of a kid. I remember talking with him about his dreams of becoming a pilot. Wrong or right, I'm on team Colton. Most of us just sit around talking about what we want and whining about the obstacles...he's making it happen.
